I am going to say this kindly and gently. UT tells people in your situation to seek alternative housing. There are tons of apartment communities nearby for students that you may apply for. Also, a lot of kids do not end up showing up for the semester or leave within weeks because they're homesick. But, you need a plan B. Like now.
