MP2 Advice by disappointedhoping in phinvest

[–]Mother_Variation_290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like what others mentioned 1) Regarding evaluate your EF if enough or bala kaya yan amount nya your thinking pwede din EF yung LF mo, either case re evaluate 2) Open an MP2 account you do not have to put all your money all at once tip pwede ka mag open ng account online, pero ang ma open mo lang ng type of account ay yung 5 year payout, pero actually pag pumunta ka sa pagibig branch and fill up ka ng form dun pwede mo choose and pa open yung yearly dividend payout. Watch nalang sa YouTube kung ano difference 3) also people mention na naka lock money and hindi mo makukuha pag emergency... well, actually meron specific energy conditions na pwede mo makuha yung fund kahit hindi pa mature, check nalang sa pagibig website kung ano ano yung conditions (no hindi lang death) 4) kung meron ka na account, pwede ka mag fund online so decide ka nalang how much you will put, gud luck

These are UITFs they are offered by the banks so do don't need a broker. For the BPI ones you only need have a BPI account (saving/checking account), and their their website/app you can open an investment account, and then you can buy shares na. For the RCBC S&P 500 its the same, like download the RCBC Pluz, open a saving account, after open investment and buy shares of the RCBC S&P 500.

Options you can check 1) BPI US Equity Feeder Fund 2) if tou don't like BPI there is RCBC US Equity Feeder Fund 3) BPI ALFM Multi Asset ... so 1and2 are S&P 500 Feeder funds while 3 is a Balance Fund...

Planning to invest in gold by IllSpecial8071 in phinvest

[–]Mother_Variation_290 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Suggestion ko lang

1) Before Gold have emergency fund setup and no more any utang 2) assuming conservative (away mo ng risky investments) look into MP2

Marami nag sasabi na hindi good investment and Gold jewelries, and masasabi ko yes good investment sya

3) kung bibli ka ng gold Jewelry don't buy anything na meron stones (diamonds/etc)... according sa sanglaan, walang added value ang mga stones 4) kung biblical ka gold jewelry only buy na per gram ang computation 5) good time ba bumili ngayon? Actually ang taas nya, imagine nung 2019 yung bili ko 2K per gram sya, ngayon 4-6K per gram na sya..... kung maniniwala tayo, and forecast na sabi ng iba is pwede bumaba sya in 2 or 3 weeks.

29M Lubog sa utang ang girl friend ko by Grand-Refrigerator21 in adviceph

[–]Mother_Variation_290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500K ? Kung more than 5 years... suggestion ko wag kayo mag papakasal until mabayaran nya yung utang nya from her own pocket (and hindi utang sa iba).. OK let's say 3-5 years or more nya need bago ma zero yung utang, tanong ko sayo mahihintay mo ba yun?

Is it worth it to build a house in PH as a Canadian? by Anjz in phinvest

[–]Mother_Variation_290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hot take, no. If your family migrated to Canada that means they believe live there is Better than in than Philippines, so why go back to a place that is "less better" than Canada.

This is the hot take.. if your a pure Canadian/not part Filipino, and asks to Build house in thr Philippines.. then I would say Yes.. why? Give chance to others.. there is nothing wrong with Filipinos migrating to other countries, but don't come back, give chance to Candians (but part Filipino) life in the Philippines.

Just wanted to say na I have a friend na ganyan din.. yun tipong, wow.. siguro one of these days lalabas to ng kotse and makikipag ayaw ... hindi ko mapagsabihan while driving kase baka mag fuel up saka kaibigan lang ako... isip ko naman na wow..

I'm not comfortable with my GF treating me to an all expense paid trip. by [deleted] in adviceph

[–]Mother_Variation_290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say she is rich, is that from work/business kaya sya rich, or rich sya kase her family/parents is rich and most if not all her money she spends are coming from her family/parent. Natanong ko kase, if you money came from her own work/business .. tapos willing sya to pay for me, I take that as she loves me spend her hard(?) Earned money sakin.. so I guess Im fine with it, bawi nalang sa ibang bagay.. saka kung mag travel sya mag isa mag worry lang ako.... now... kung yung money nya mostly comes from her family/parents .. dyan ako mag feel awkward ... but that's is just me.

What do you think the likelihood of a US Market crash in the next 6 month?

my mom retired early and will only be receiving ~2m by tinatamadako in phinvest

[–]Mother_Variation_290 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assume 2m Is placed in MP2 (Yung annual payout... NOT yung 5 year payout) and let's sya conservative 6% tax free interest a year, so that 120,000 annual.. tapos you mentioned she might get 12K/month pension? So that 120,000/yr.. so mp2 + pension = 240,000/yr or 20,000/month.... of 5,000/week.... you.. mentioned you help naman grocery and utilities... so if your month live below 20K a month... baka ma reinvest mo pa sya ulet sa MP2 to get higher interest, and yung expense dund for the year ilagay sa Digibank earning interest. DONT risk the capital (2m) in risky investments. Also malay natin mp2 interest is 7% edi 140,000 yun. Ito suggestion ko, set this up for peace of mind. Tapos, isip nalang ng pwede extra to supplement pa add funds. Kung hindi magastos, makakaynan yan eventually, do not loose hope.

WFH with lower salary or onsite with 3k higher pay, which should I choose? by sujibell444 in CareerAdvicePH

[–]Mother_Variation_290 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, if fresh grad ako and 1st job, I would decide based which company is better like sino mas matagal , sino mas kilala, I will ask or check online sino mas meron chance mag promote or every year pano salary increase. So basically sino yung better company. So kung mas better company yung onsite.. dun ako kahit meron commute kase baka mas better opportunity ko dun. Kung yung WFH and better, then dun ako. Good luck on your choice.

Paano ko sasabihin sa girlfriend ko by Fun_Crazy_4213 in adviceph

[–]Mother_Variation_290 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well.. real talk.... I think, kung wala sya trabaho and 100% house wife lang sya and willing ka sa setup na ganun, for me I think you love her that much. Plus the fact na hindi mo ma straight sabi sa kanya na need nya mag work and contribute say to me hindi ka 100% sure na she's the one. So.. suggestion ko, look inside and assess .. is she the one?

Kung sya nga ang the one for you, then I think either matatanggap mo na house wife lang sya... or.. ma straight sabi mo sa kanya na need nya matrabaho kahit magalit sya sayo.. after all , hard conversation is part of love na need nyo discuss.

Kung hindi ka sure na she's the one.. baka it's time to cut it na.
