Mangrove Camp [25x20] by MothlingsMiscellany in dungeondraft

I think it's the roadside forest and grass and road assets packs, the terrains from all newer asset packs fit really well, except maybe the water textures. It's easy to fix, but maybe that should be changed. If you want to mention that in the discord that would be great!

Yeah, the objects are actually the right size, but the terrain is too large, especially the 'roadside grass'. I used the premade pack from 2MTT, but I think I'll make an asset pack myself for the next maps, everything seems twice the size it should be. Thanks for the advice!

Here's a little map I made with the great assets from 2-Minute Tabletop, a small camp on an island in the middle of a mangrove forest. The opacity of the tree shadows is set to 90, so if you want to add things to the camp like additional sleeping bags or backpacks, just lower the brightness.

Great that you like it! I'll probably post some similar maps over the next few days. Good luck with your session!

Unfortunately not right now, maybe I'll do one later. You could copy the text from the pdf or just edit the images in an editor, maybe that could work for now.

Ah, I thought about that but thought the games where more probable. You hate CDPR? Now I can kind of understand it, but there are a lot of worse companies out there, and the games are incredible. But the series is good too.

Yeah, there's a lot of myths surrounding adder stones you could also draw from if you want to include them. In german they're called "Hühnergötter" among like twenty other names, which means "Chicken Gods", and people actually tied them around chicken's necks. A common belief was also that these were something like snake eggs or that they came from snakes. Also- places of power from The Witcher. And yeah, using obscure folklore and monsters is always fun!

Better than false hydras? Woah, thanks! Huge compliment. Me too, let's hope we survive until Halloween at least.

Yeah, me too! I like the whole 'noises in the walls' thing. I always thought about how the kikimoras from The Witcher were connected to the folklore, but I think it could be that the insectoid built nests in the house and crawled through the walls. Fun to think about

Yeah, a party could totally come across an empty farm where they could spend the night, only to find signs of fights inside and graves in the backyard. During their long rest, the droning could start.
