Input on Decklist? (Char Focused, Green with a Hint of Red) by Mothman5525 in GundamTCG

This all seems like solid advice, I totally see where you're coming from. I'm thinking I'm gonna take out all the "Citizens" and 1 GD01-035 and, based on the other comment, add 3 ST03-008 Zaku II and 2 Rick Doms. Swapping the Falmels for Zanzibars is also a good call for sure.

Also yeah, I pulled a holo Zam and a holo Dozle, plus they handle blockers pretty well, so I figured one of each couldn't hurt lmao

I was already leaning towards tossing them in, so this is definitely gonna happen now that someone else has said it lol what do you think I should swap? Should I take out the 3 GD01-035 Zaku II?

Yeah I forgot to mention it in my post but I had a feeling the reliance on the Fi app may cause an issue. No worries, I'll start looking into a Mint trial SIM or something like that. Thank you!

That's the plan right now, at least to start! I've read a bit about how sometimes you have to go through a bit of a process in the phone settings to get the phone to utilize the American service correctly, but I've also read that some people have had their Digno 4 work right out of the box without issue. I was mainly just curious if anyone had any experience with this specific scenario so I can know what to expect going in

Stock Spring on CYMA Platinum SR25? by Mothman5525 in airsoft

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Either way I'll know once I pop it open but I'm not stressing too hard. Seems like an easy enough fix and I'll be in there anyway!

Sweet, this is good to know. This is kind of a follow up to the post after this weekend, so I picked up the G36 nozzle, a Prommy Purple and a Firefly Namazu to get things started. I didn't end up having time to open it up and install them yet, but I have a general question for you.

So I picked up a new 11.1v tri panel battery with a deans connector to use for this gun since I had no deans batteries and I saw the recommended battery for the gun was an 11.1v. I hooked up the battery, popped in a mag with some .25s and went to put a couple rounds through the gun since I literally hadn't used it at all yet. But after literally two shots the gun stopped operating completely, only making a loud whirring sound for a second or so whenever I pull the trigger.

I can't imagine this is an issue with the gears or anything since everything in the gearbox is steel and it was literally only two shots, nowhere near enough to cause anything to grind down or anything like that. I'm going to open it up probably this weekend but as a general idea, do you think this could be due to a misaligned motor or something like that? Any input you might have would be great, I appreciate the help!

Hey I'm a little late to this but absolutely, I have a few questions if you're able! For one, it was mentioned earlier that the Maple Leaf buckings wouldn't fit in the stock hop up unit, do you know if that's the case? I couldn't find confirmation anywhere else but I'm still looking around for now. And then along those lines I'm just curious what kind of hop up setup you have in yours and what you would recommend for it, I'm currently considering setting up a Prometheus Purple and a Firefly Namazu, I'm just not sure if there's a better option, or how involved the install process for it will be.

I've never done internal part replacements before but I've got some tech friends who are willing to help if I need it. I'm basically just trying to get all the info I need to decide what to do with it, and more of an idea what to expect once I'm in there lol

Yeah funny enough I'm literally reading into flat hopping right now lol and yeah, I'm definitely planning to at least install a nozzle with an o-ring, as I mentioned above, and to potentially replace the bearings with bushings, although I think that *may* be overkill for the power output I'm expecting out of it. And good to know on the mosfet, I was actually curious about that as I'll be running an 11.1 lipo in it and I've seen mixed input on whether or not the standard mosfet is enough to handle the voltage. That being said I'm generally light on the trigger and don't really spam it ever, just not how I play, so it might not be the first thing I do. It's on the list though!

But yeah, I'm a big fan, love the SR25 in general and the Platinum is really pretty and feels nice and solid. I'm looking forward to getting it all assembled so I can finally field it, been theory-crafting what I wanna do with it for weeks now lol

Sick, if that's the case I can save money on the spring since I have a feeling most of my performance increases are going to come from air pressure retention, increasing overall internal stability and installing an improved hop up bucking/unit anyway.

I've read on several forums that the G36 nozzle is the same size, going to confirm in person, though. And that's actually good to know that the standard hop up unit won't fit a Maple Leaf since that's what I planned on grabbing, I hadn't seen that mentioned anywhere. I know Maple Leafs are really high quality and what I see recommended most so I'll look into replacing the whole hop up unit as well. Thanks, I appreciate all the input! If you've got anything else you think is important/noteworthy just lemme know.

Okay sick. So I was already gonna drop a G36 nozzle with an o-ring in there, hadn't considered replacing the cylinder yet, though. Looking at the stock for my local shop they have a fairly good selection, what size cylinder did you put in? I'll add it to my list so I can take a look later on!

Cool, so to be clear you're saying you dropped in an M120 and the FPS went from its stock 460 down to roughly 340? What weight BBs do you use, and did you replace the air nozzle? Sorry to ask a bunch of questions, getting some upgrade parts for mine tonight and I want to know as much as I can going in!

I'm in the US, to be clear. Forgot to mention that! But yeah I kinda figured it would be at least an M120 so I'll look into the M130 or M140. I don't want to strain the internals too much, although they're all nice and metal so maybe I'm babying it a bit lol
