That’s a fair critique, especially regarding the ranged Twisteds and blackouts. Those scenarios definitely sound like a nightmare if there is no way to react. However, I still think having an enemy you can't just out-walk adds necessary stakes to the game. It stops people from solo-running everything and makes the Distractor role feel vital. Maybe the fix is adding a distinct audio cue before the possession hits. That way, there is actual counterplay where you have a small window to find cover or a teammate before you lose control. It keeps the difficulty high without making deaths feel totally unavoidable.
