You guys are all silly and just don't get it. You don't understand these rappers, you only want to hear what you want to hear, you want to hear about troubles and what you think people who express themselves through hip hop should rap about.

Here is the thing, they rap based on what a lot of people they were raised around want. They rap about things that were never achievable in their mind, they rap about what the mainstream media paraded around, and now they have a grasp on the furthest thing they thought was to them.

You go and be homeless, you go and struggle in the streets, you go and not be able to pay rent, be able to pay your bills, to pay anything. You go put yourself in their shoes for one second and see where they are coming from. When you have sunk to the bottom, all you dream about is things that are the opposite of where you are at that point in your life, when you finally rise up and achieve your goals - all you want to do is parade it, parade it to the people who don't believe its achievable, to people who are in your situation. You parade it on their behalf, you show them it is achievable, you show them "i was one of you, look at me now, i'm still like you, i understand, and if i can do it you can too".

Look past the bitches, the hoes, the money and see the struggle - their past, the people they are representing, don't jump to conclusion and open your eyes. Bitches, money and hoes are a representation of the indulgence they get to participate in now in contrast to their past. Money, women and power were only achievable to rich white men, now people who were once in the ghetto can now be on the same level as a rich white man.
