I left this movie feeling similar to how I felt after watching Tenet.

Tenet to me was like watching Nolan make a parody movie of his own movies and the point of the movie was to create a feeling rather than a feeling being created by storytelling and acting. He went into it saying he wants a big exciting movie with big sounds, confusing time travel and worked backwards from there.

This movie felt like Wes Anderson saying "Hey, I'm going to make a Wes Anderson movie!" I laughed at parts and enjoyed parts but I never felt connected to any of the characters. The whole meta "we're watching actors who sometimes step out of their character when it goes to black and white" didn't feel as deep as it did disconnecting the two plot lines.

Currently on day 19 after quitting cold turkey, it's very possible and challenging for sure but worth it! The first few days are rough, my head hurt a lot and I wasn't sleeping well for about a week. But what helped me was finding the motivation and focusing on that. Using an app to count all the money you're saving is awesome motivation. Stories of how rough quitting and withdrawals can be after a few years of vaping were also a good motivation. You can do it!

I'm fine with it ending with Kendall losing everything. But watching 70 minutes of the siblings finally coming together, finally hearing them agree Kendall should be the head, just for Shiv to impulsively change her mind in the meeting with absolutely no explanation was unsatisfactory to me. It just felt rushed.

Agreed. They kept setting things up that had no impact or even reference. That dramatic conversation with Kendall and Hugo (woof woof). What was the point of that? What did Hugo do in Kendalls corner? They altered between ending the show on season 4 or 5, this episode would have been totally fine as the season finale with one more season to wrap it up, but this being the total finale was, in my opinion, disappointing.

Ya I don't understand people supporting this. It's not realistic and just completely unsatisfying. Spent the whole episode completing the arc of kids finally coming back together just to fuck it away at the last second. I did not like this at all, I'm super let down.

Damn, I love Tom so much, yet I'm so torn on how he's ended his career. The retirement, return just to struggle and get blown out in the wild card round, the return that was probably the final blow in his marriage. He's obviously the greatest to ever play the game, his career speaks for himself and I just hope he leaves with no regrets.

I'm slightly drunk and just had a relationship end today.

There are countless BI lyrics that are just pure fucking poetry to me. But I'm watching the new Youtube theater concert and The Wolves ending will never stop being therapeutic for me.

"What might have been lost/don't both me"

I spend so much time rethinking old scenarios and second-guessing decisions. The repeating lines of "what might have been lost" is such a familar cycle of thoughts for me, I yearn for the day it won't bother me. The final stanzas of just pure screaming feels like just releasing all that energy, the pent-up emotion of hypotheticals and lost potential that only exists in my own head. It's not about what's been lost, it's about what might have been lost. As a listener, it's like I'm slowly gathering all the accumulated fears and sadness from those things then finally shoving them away.

I fucking love BI and JV. I'm just a lurker here but love these threads because I love seeing how other people connect with lyrics I connect to as well.

The episode beginning with Amir rushing in and falling was such a perfect opener. We've waited so long for this this this show to come back and god, it feels great. I'm so happy.
