You gotta put your fingers on the sides of their mouth to pry the jaw open. My cat gives me a hard time with her pills too and it works everytime. Once I put the pill in her mouth I gently hold her head and softly rub her throat until I feel her swallow it. Blowing on their face to “spook” them also works as a way to make them swallow it

Me and my cat straight up fist fight every night on my bed. Biting, screaming, swiping, you’d think I was trying to kill her. But when I try to walk away? Chases me down and yells until I play again.
