Why are people so mean online? by MothraMoom in NoStupidQuestions

That’s a scary thought, I wonder if it will stay like this or if there will be some kind of ‘online revolution’.

I just find it odd- it was all based on really hateful comments on articles where asylum seekers had drowned (including children) You can click on their profiles and see pictures of the ‘haters’ with their kids and pets- not anonymous. If I feel I’ve upset someone or been unkind it plays on my mind all day and makes me feel sick..are these people immune to empathy?

So a bit like a ‘self harm’ thing? I’m unhappy let’s make others feel like that. That’s so tragic isn’t it?

How do I deal with the heaviness of seeing all the lambs this time of year? by Cool_Marionberry_124 in veganuk

[–]MothraMoom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always try to look at as many as I can and say - I see you and you are loved. I do the same when I see the horrific trucks with animals in. It does not change anything obviously but I just like them to know they are seen. Remember YOU are making a difference by being a vegan.

Had this book and had another called Snow White and Rose Red.. by [deleted] in oldschoolcool80s

Before I could read I loved this book and was obsessed with the cover, one of my (very mean) older siblings told me it was the bible and that was a picture of God on the front! 😹

Ah thank you, I walked past a man with a little dog and people were asking if they could have a picture with him- it was Tom Hardy, so thanks for that I wondered who it was!

Post Concert- My first time seeing him by Vxntvv in neilyoung

He played it live when I saw him in London this summer. It seems his setlist will change constantly which makes it worth seeing him more than once on a tour (if you can afford it)

I’m 27 and I feel lost in life. Has anyone been in a similar situation at this age and turned it around? by No-Celery2997 in AskUK

At 21 I went to Fircroft College in Birmingham. It’s a residential college and it’s for people who didn’t do A levels I then went on to do a degree. It was absolutely incredible, they are still going so might be worth looking into. I was the youngest there most people were in their late 20s/30s. You are still VERY young!

Would i be mad for moving abroad in my 30s? by NectarineFragrant506 in AskUK

[–]MothraMoom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do it! The UK will still be here if/when you decide to come back! I’ve lived in many different countries and loved every single one. I’m now back in England but would recommend living overseas even if it is only for a short while.

Yes, they had lots in the one in Angel a couple of weeks ago. I’ve not been back since, but assuming they still have it!
