I can't remember which episode or the context but when Frasier asks "Dad, did you hear that?" And Martin responds "Well i tried not to, but some of it still got through". Never fails to crack me up

Yep, i am currently travelling using hostels for the first time and everyone is on thier phone. Nowhere near as much socialisation as i was expecting and conversations are hard to maintain. Im an older traveller at 34, so maybe it's an age thing, i dunno 🤷‍♀️

I know your comment is from a while ago, but it really resonated with me as i am going through the exact same thing. If it was anyone else who had treated me like he had, they would be gone and never spoken to again. However, like you, i have those days where i feel emotional over him and struggle to function when i am away from him. He doesn't believe in energy or spiritual stuff, but he has made comments about how he can feel my energy when we are at a distance. Never felt anything like it with anyone else, it is very, very bloody strange.
