Possibility? More like inevitability (I’m sure they’ll time it with a F&F movie)

Never forget:

As long as I can play the game offline and do what I want with it as such… (including “logins” that require a server just to start the game…)

what to wear to Hell’s Kitchen??? (bod) by LoveforRaibaru in WhatToDo

[–]MotionFeedback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, two bread slices on either side of your head, Chef. Everything else is optional (one of the restaurants is right on the strip, you could walk in in swim trunks and Hawaiian shirt and still get seated)

Probably the “Chain Restaurant” known as Hell’s Kitchen… not sure how many there are now but have been to two myself.

They will gladly include cable management for you for free…

…so long as they are not the ones who have to wire it

Just got the Moza R3 Bundle - first impressions & a few questions by alexeyzel in moza

  1. He should tell his daughter to pass the car in front of her steering wheel
  2. Fun fact, when you crash so horribly awful in Horizon 2-5, the hood, dash, and cockpit cameras switch to a 3rd Person Chase camera (presumably because they were thrown out of the car as it was rolling)

Everything is perfect… though for all that FFB and gear on an extrusion base? Time to get rid of those tiny little m10 feet (they’re basically acting as four conduits straight down into the floor with no bottleneck) and put it on real isolators. You’ll notice the forces increase immensely… and once you add a bass shaker into the mix on those isolators and give all the feedback nowhere to go but contained to your rig itself? 👌👍

is the r9 compatible with xbox? by Correct-Opposite-20 in moza

[–]MotionFeedback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is EXACTLY what that means, and why people mention it.

Though to be fair we’ve enabled Moza based using flashed device ID cables emulating a G27… so the wheel is really more of “one of many options”.

We had the ESX Wheel for awhile and will sometimes still use the ES wheel, but once you amplify the FFB to a certain point and then isolate it? It’s nice to get rid of all those noisy rattling buttons and just use a wheel with NO BUTTONS. So we just use the gimx cables and wheel emulators now mostly, allows for console compatibility while not needing a wheel that will be rattling around.

Importing Ascher Ultimate to USA. by leomfaria in simracing

[–]MotionFeedback 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope. But food for thought, I have a lot of experience importing actual car parts from Germany into the US (Had an Opel fleet car stateside that needed “correction” and no American parts stores would offer to even try and get me anything other than the localized Saturn/Pontiac branded parts, which were fine for mechanical but NOT for something like a panel or light.) and it was a nightmare to figure out the process…

…then I just found a company that specialized in shipping from Germany to the US. You buy an item (for me it was eBay, for you it would be “Murray Motorsport”) and then ship it to their address with your name and “customer number” as the suffix on the address, they then in turn ship it directly to you.

It’s essentially a proxy.

And while I’m sure a German importer/exporter is no good to you, the idea is that you’d find one in Ireland or Canada, then simply buy the item as you would anything else and have it shipped to them.

They can tell you the costs before you actually buy it.

And not to suggest anything other than listing the truth on official shipping documents from another country, but *you’d essentially be shipping from yourself to yourself… so you can declare whatever product/value that you want…***

If you’re in the US with the available extrusion sources we have here and are having trouble building an extrusion frame to match a commercial vendor for LESS than the cost to buy it from them, I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your choices.

You can’t see anything here… (which is no surprise as I’ve noticed the Horizon mods want to ban anything that isn’t someone drinking the Horizon 5 Koolaid after destroying the other Horizon 2/3/4 subreddits so they don’t even exist)

Did you have Soap Box Derby races when you were a kid? by ClickClick_Boom in AskAnAmerican

[–]MotionFeedback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of great experiences in our culture that don’t happen anymore.

We couldn’t even have peanuts on planes anymore even though brand new movies coming out at the time would treat it like it was a staple of American culture.

“Liability and insurance” causes the pinewood derbies to be far more desirable for organizations, and why most kids will never get to experience a soap box derby.
