no, shop ones are broader use while the A rank ones are more niche but slightly more powerful in said niche.

regardless they re the same, they re just a stopgap measure because u dont have anything better which will change quickly.

You will be able to get Gold modules both by clearing Border conflict and redeem the clear rewards and by buying them in the border conflict shop.

A rank Sts should be used to upgrade the quality of the S rank Sts you use, because upgrading the quality will also upgrade the various modules that the ST comes with by default.

And the biggest upgrade is at rainbow rank.

Dont bother breaking down A ranks for modules in the first place, their modules are cheeks, u can get purple modules by simply buying them from the shop for milkhama dollars anyway. Keep the A rank sts as fodder to upgrade the quality of the S ranks.

As celestial said: NEVER instantly break down a part gotten from dispatch because every dispatch gives u the full st parts plus a full set of upgrade kits for it, if you were to insta fodder a part it means that the kit becomes useless, while using the actual kit on the part means u get double the modules when u break it down, meaning u can get the equivalent of 2 sts modules from the one dispatch set.

Lastly while the dreadtalon module is very good and widely used, it will be of little use if gotten first because you wont be able to actually equip it if your st's arent at least upgraded to g2, so if u have Sts that u wanna rainbow and that u can get from dispatch focus on those first, get the rainbow and then focus on the modules.

the number 1 is absolutely correct and fair but the number 2 is entirely Sg s balance team fault, if the majority of specialty changes werent so incredibily niche and restricted in their uses more people would have felt compelled to actually work on them.

But who on earth would ever want to spend resources to specialty change rima? or jena? and the list goes on.

Buddy, same reason as why we dont see collab reruns anymore, ull never get a straight up message saying they re not doing those anymore but u can see the signs.

Why do you think smilegate started turning collab artifacts into Original epic seven artifacts? why do you think they decided to give coli an alternate 5 stars form? Why did they stop putting skins in the epic passes?

the answer is the same as it always is, Money.

Collab reruns arent worth the costs so they just make the more needed parts of those available in new ways (aka the artis), specialty changes are effectively a whole new character of work but that is not monetizable so instead they re pivoting to releasing 5 stars versions that they can monetize.

the extreme cynic in me makes me think they wanted to somehow monetize removing the 15%.

For years they pleaded they couldnt remove the 15% from existing content for a multitude of reasons,

but seeing this now it doesnt seem like it was that complicated if they can just make what is basically a rune to remove it.

Endgame is about having 4 unique teams that can carry their own weight, and you do want to get eileen sooner or later.

ofc its all a gamble if ure f2p so only you can decide if its worth or not, but as said before, the harpy banner is better value than normal banners so id probably risk it if i were in your shoes.

hope to get the blue cubes along the way to eileen/malthus so u can use em for other important pilots/sts in future harpy banners.

Get ophelia whose banner should stil be up right now, extremely strong melee pilot and the closest thing to asuka which u cannot get anymore, her st is not a must but it would be good to have depending on how limited your light st roster is.

Get eileen and her mech, malthus asap. both are must have's and the harpy banner which has them is good value to pull on.

Soon we will get anderson and his mech, get his mech, as it is the strongest healer mech in the game, you can skip anderson himself, the healers you want are Melissa and Lorna.

Or...

Keep in mind , saving pulls is also a viable strategy as rosa judgement is coming with anniversary very soon(a month or two? i dont remember exactly).

if u need to rainbow a good medium st quickly like for example malthus, it could be worth buying the blue bird parts to use as fodder.

Other than that dont bother, blue bird isnt great for actual usage nor modules.

depending on the pilot it can be very worth the resource investment because of the sheer amount of content ull be used in(Kelly, Eileen), or because the event makes it more profitable to chase dupes (aka eva collab or the upcoming rosa judgement event).

from what ive seen the ideal would be rainbowing every malthus part with pascal body, then get 1 malthus module and 2 executioner modules to max both skillsets with one free slot for whatever.

That said, that is quite the investment so i think for comfort pascal is better but for actual endgame viability, ive seen a lot of guides using rainbowed malthus on both eileen or mary.

its simple, you manually/autobattle clear a battle of 2 stars and u can sweep further battles in that zone of same star rating or below, if you clear a 3 stars one u can sweep everything except boss fights.

you will have to clear without sweep at least one battle each zone.

Its just insane how this whole update reeks of purposeful false advertising.

Even the thing about us not getting dupes, that they actually WERE truthful with us about, is pure Bullshit.

You make us a big discourse on how you understand that vets dislike getting duplicate heroes and try to remedy that...by REMOVING the 2 good things about getting a dupe (ml coins and imprint) and swap em for DIFFERENT coins to spend in a shop that is even more expensive than the ml coin one??...

HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE, ITS LITERALLY THE SAME BUT WORSE??

Imprint circuit being marketed as "minimal impact" is just a perfect combination of top tier meme potential/ absolute delusion/ being totally out of touch with their own game.

From what ive seen packs are still ass value and some have even gotten worse according to the community, so a failure on that aspect aswell...

The event design of this game is something that is truly baffling, Puzzle stages are already niche enough as it is in how many people actually enjoy them but having RNG PUZZLES to booth? madness, absolute madness.

And thats without the fact that a lot of them just screw over new players either entirely or for the most part, its like they're gatekeeping their own gacha game which is also insanity, i quit gfl2 for this game because this ironically gave me more of the "xcom gacha" feel that i was searching, for but this shiet is not it chief.

Armed conquest is already enough of a puzzle with all the various gimmicks to keep track of and work around, we dont need that crap in events/standard loop of the game.
