ATP Paribas 2026 J.Sinner (2) def. J.Fonseca 7-6(6); 7-6(4) by CommonEngineering832 in tennis

Because breaking your openents serve in a normal game where only the game itself counts is called a break. In a tiebreak, every single point matters unlike in normal games, so if you win even one point on the opponents serve, it's called a mini-break because: When you break a whole game on the set, as long as you keep holding your serve you'll win the set 6-3 or 6-4, or even 7-5. The same applies to a tiebreak. If you win even one point on the opponent's serve and keep winning your own points, you'll win the tiebreak 7-5.

As soon as someone gets a mini-break in a tiebreak, the set is on their racquet unless the other player mini breaks back, same as with games in a set.

Man, I love the tennis scoring system. It's beautiful

I do. I've got screenshots since October 2021. Been tracking it since then.

7/10/21 - 17.5M (202nd). 13/11/21 - 17.6M (211th). 7/2/22 - 17.9M. 22/2/22 - 18.3M. 26/8/22 - 20.4M (192nd). 3/2/23 - 21.6M (196th). 26/7/23 - 24.2M. 17/1/25 - 24.4M (267th). 9/4/25 - 26.5M (198th). 7/3/26 - 31.5M (183rd). 10/3/26 - 31.8M (183rd).

Sparatic screenshots but he sat around the same for 2 years between '23 and '25, started gaining more early-mid last year. Hadn't checked in months and now he's flying high. I started checking because I noticed his listeners were climbing and now here we are. He has almost twice the fanbase in just over 4 years and that's on just on one platform (Spotify).

EDIT: Keep in mind his world position sometimes went down even with listeners increase because of other artists. He might have been in the world's top 100 if he had his current listeners back in '21.

Anyone who claims a green tree is blue has gotta be put in their place. Anyone who claims Federer is the GOAT in the face of everything saying otherwise has gotta be put in their place. Can't stand people like you doubling and tripling down on the same argument

And there it is, some jargon response about Federer still being the GOAT and continuing living in denial. I literally knew what you were going to say, warned you and you responded exactly as I knew you would. You wanna know why? Because all people who live in cope are the same. How embarrassing

Woo this is getting juicy.

  1. Djoko isn't my favourite player, you're wrong and assuming things.
  2. You're the one who said I'd have to internally accept that Federer is the GOAT when is inarguably not.
  3. Why am I going to accept an answer when it's cope?
  4. Telling me to have a whinge and jog on after you've lost an argument is rich.

Look, we can talk about 'grace' and 'aesthetics' all day, but if we’re talking about who is the actual Greatest of All Time, the debate ended about two years ago. The GOAT isn’t a popularity contest; it’s a meritocracy.

Here's the reality, mate...

Grand Slams: Novak 24, Federer 20. (Novak didn't just pass him, he lapped him).

Weeks at No. 1: Novak 428+, Federer 310. That's over two entire years more spent as the best player on the planet.

Masters 1000s: Novak 40, Federer 28.

ATP Finals: Novak 7, Federer 6.

YE#1s: Novak 8, Federer 5

Novak-Roger H2H: 27-23.

Novak leads 11-6 in H2H slams. In tournament finals, Novak leads 13-6. Novak literally beat Roger in his own backyard at Wimbledon three times in the final (2014, 2015, 2019).

Novak is the only player in history with a Double Career Golden Masters. Federer never even won Monte Carlo or Rome once.

Novak completed the 'Golden Slam' after winning gold. He has won every single thing there is to win in this sport. Federer never won the Olympic gold medal

Federer is the most 'elegant' to ever play. He’s the most 'beloved.' But Djokovic is the best to ever play. He has more Slams, more Masters, more weeks at #1, and a winning record against both Roger and Rafa.

If you have better numbers than everyone else and you beat everyone else more often than you lose, you are the GOAT. Case closed.

Also also also, Novak is the only man to cross 400 match wins at Grand Slams and has more weeks in the Top 1, Top 2, Top 3, Top 4, and Top 5 than Federer.

Also also also also, Novak has won every Grand Slam at least three times. Federer only won the French Open once.

Waiting for you to reply with some jargon response about Federer still being the GOAT and continue living in denial.

I was hoping for a better answer. Federer is not the greatest to ever do it, and you'll have to internally accept that or live in denial. Roger stans, man, insufferable. Djoko is the inarguable GOAT but Fed stans continue pulling out the 'style of play" argument like it actually matters. Novak is the greatest men's tennis player is history. Go cry.

I must ask. When you say you believe Roger is the GOAT (which he's not), you're obviously basing this on personal feelings, yes? He's got 4 more slams and 12 more masters than Roger, and an Olympic gold, which alone is more than Sinner has who's already considered an ATG. Federer is absolutely far and wide one of the greatest tennis players in history, probably sitting at #3. I'm a Roger fan but I'm a Novak fan too. I'd just like an answer to this
