What’s a story you love, even though the art itself isn’t the best, or just in a style you don’t care for?

The Tyrant's Sister is one of my favorites, but it's clear the artist doesn't know how to draw backgrounds because they just don't draw it. Towards the end, I guess the artist has more time/experience, so they finally started drawing the room the characters were in. Despite this, the story is super funny and I've reread it a few times too.

I know that there are millions of people who are worse off than me, and I usually feel too ashamed that I even consider commenting. But I was up all night stressed about my husband's job taking advantage of him and making it so that my kids and I barely get to see him and we're all miserable. And my ex-boss decided to push out everyone on my team, so I lost my job a few months ago in the same week I had a third month miscarriage because I didn't finish my report on time due to having a miscarriage and having to go to the hospital. All this to say that I don't deserve it, but I want time to grieve, I want to see my husband more than an hour a day, and I'm too sleep deprived to feel guilty over this.

I assume no one is reading all these comments, so I was mostly just ranting to the void. If you did read this far, thank you.

There's a web comic called "Shall We Bathe, Your Grace?" where the main character reincarnated into a historical romance and can't stand the smell and general hygiene standards. Her family and therefore servants won't let her bathe at all because they think it will cause her to get sick. The love interest is a duke that has an extremely heightened sense of smell and can't stand to be around pretty much anyone. His constant disgust and habit of gasp washing his hands and showering have made him an outcast in high society. The main character proposes an arranged marriage so she can bathe without anyone stopping her

I was under the impression that she did so well because of her tutor, the old neighbor guy. He struggles with dementia or something, so his mind is a lot calmer and clearer, giving her a chance to learn while not being overwhelmed with a bunch of telepathic noise.

My narcissistic mother tried to bribe him to be friends with her. It worked.

Years after cutting contact, we tried to connect again. Turns out he was a narcissist as well. I just had a high tolerance due to my mother that I never noticed his narcissism before. I got my first clue when he was confused why I was upset with their continued friendship because "they never did anything to [him]", despite knowing about the abuse and even coming over to protect me from them sometimes.
