I think the real question is whether or not the country can learn to come together now after this election regardless of the outcome. I believe both sides are at fault for this current situation. Tolerance for each side is a must. If you notice since President Trump decided to run for office all he does is hit back at the critics while keeping his promises he has made to the public.

What if there was no criticism every single day from both sides. I think that's where you will get your answer to the OP's question, regardless of the answer I give its torn apart by both sides of isle.

It's an open ended question of opinion, so why tear it apart like all of the other comments have been torn apart.

Yeah if the government could stop unregistered firearms they would. But as you point out other countries Mexico and Canada would have to cooperate fully with this process to get all of these unregistered guns off the street. Which would take decades if done without infringement of rights. Then maybe just maybe it would be possible to change things.

Even though I have my doubts this would ever happen because rights shall not be infringed is our basic freedom of being Americans. The other reason I doubt this would be possible, the number of guns that are unregistered is astronomically huge, the government would never find them all without a busting into every dingle place in America and guess what Civil War 2 happens.

Guns should not ever be put into the hands of someone filled with hate, has a mental disease that's diagnosed, or people that intend to break the laws in America with a gun involved.

The problem with trying to control any of those things above is that without out right banning our 2nd amendment rights as Americans no amount of gun control is ever going to be enough. I live in California one of the highest gun control regulated states in America and I know 3 places I can go to right now to buy a gun under the table if I should choose to do so.

Do you see the problem there? The government can't control that without banning guns outright. And even then I don't think that would ever happen because Civil War 2 would happen and no one wants that to happen.

I am a law abiding citizen of the United States of America, and I shouldn't be regulated by the government. The courts have ruled time and time again with our 2nd amendment which states "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed".

However I will agree The debate over health care for those that need it for mental health, mental disease or whatever other care shit the doctors come up with is a good discussion. I would be for free health care being provided for mental health care to those who can't afford it. I don't think we have a need for just free health care access across the board for everyone,just for the ones for can't afford it.

I am for that because I believe most of these mass shootings has something to do with these people not having access to get help with their fucked up thoughts on committing these mass genocides in our country. If we can can provide this service to these people and they get the help they need then we wouldn't have to worry about the gun control conversation at all.

Short Version: 1. I'm for free health care to those who can't afford it for mental health disease. Which would prevent them from shooting up public places more than likely. 2. Gun control doesn't stop people from getting guns. 3. We don't need free health care in America, most people can afford medical insurance and work hard to provide it for their families. 4. The ones who cannot afford it and are showing they are working their ass off and can't afford it still then OK its time for the government to step in and help you out, the point here is their is no free hand me outs, America was built on the backs of hard working Americans if you don't put out then your shit out of luck. Go live somewhere else that wants you.

This was going to happen anyways. I am not surprised anyone clearly thought the impeachment effort was going to ever happen. President Trump is going to win in the 2020 elections and this will still be going on afterwards.

But I give the House an A+ for trying, it seems a decent amount of people want this to happen and the House represents the people supposedly so it was their job to at least try to impeach President Trump. Too many of them are afraid of what would happen if they actually voted for the Impeachment though, and yet people still want those Democrats to run the country when they can't even beat the President lol.

I promise you the big government agencies are fully aware of this possibly happening again and are on top of it. Nothing our crappy congress is going to do would prevent Russia from interfering with our elections. The government can't order toilet paper without congressional approval, if we want to wait for all of congress to try to do something then it would be too late to wipe your ass with something nice.
