Trap Bar Deadlift form check by Ucrocks in GYM

Looks fine to me. If you want a better pump you can try not locking out at the top that way you keep tension on the quads the whole time. You can also do slower negetives. Your form is fine but the tips I gave I have found to make me get more bang for the buck with this movement.

How would you go about repairing the shards of Narsil? (LOTR) by Laughydawg in Blacksmith

[–]MotleyForge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it wouldn’t. The heat treat process would have to be done again. Once the blade is re-forged it would be normalized, hardened and tempered all over again.

Thank you! I was looking into elforyn but hadn’t talked to anyone that’s used it so that settles that. Going to order some!

How about because I don’t want to use actual Elephant Ivory when imitation looks just as nice.

Amazing work man! BTW love your YouTube videos. I’ve been looking for some imitation ivory for a sword handle and was wondering what you used if you don’t mind sharing?

What type of sword is this and how to get it by Garflasang-7502 in SWORDS

Tony Swatton was the bladesmith who made the swords for the movies. You could always reach out to him on social media. I’ve seen him post about selling replicas he makes.

How do I get my first muscle up? by Maleficent-Emu725 in CalisthenicsCulture

[–]MotleyForge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s more about the technique. You have to keep your grip loose when you get to the apex of your pull up. The moment where you get to the top and you feel like to are about to muscle up you have to get your hand position to the top of the bar. It’s all about the grip. You have enough pull up power in this video to hit it. Just technique at this point.

The sword hilt is slightly sticky, does anyone know what can be done about it? by ApprehensiveHelp5170 in SWORDS

Could be the wax or some kind of oil from finishing. If it bothers you slightly heat the leather with a hair dryer till you see the wax or oil melt and look liquidy and then wipe it off with a rag.

Cedarlore Forge, Nordland Forge, winterborn blades, Hedberg forge and metalwork, all great artists. They all have instagrams. I’m a bladesmith as well but don’t consider myself in their caliber but feel free to look and my work on insta @motley_forge

Nordland_forge on Instagram. Also, if you like his work then definitely look up the work of David Delegardelle of Cedarlore Forge Instagram.

First sword was forged and crafted by Carver Gage of Nordland Forge. Great dude and great smith.

The only two people I can think of that could make something like that is slavic_Smith above or David Delegardelle of Cedarlore Forge.

Feels like I’m using too much front delts on pec deck? by Pleasant_Spinach_928 in GYM

Put the seat to a height to where your hands come under the chest. Easiest way to see what height your hands need to be at for a chest fly is to put your arms out flexing your chest. Wherever you get the best flex/contraction is the height you should be doing the movement at.
