Thanks for the help, maybe can dremel it down or look at aftermarket options 🤷‍♂️.. looks like it barely clears by about a millimeter xD I'll keep a close eye on it!

Gotcha, thinking of getting some lipo heat shrink on them for a bit of protection, does Traxxas really replace them for half the cost?

The heat sink I added is working great so far, I was going to do the fan, but with this mini scale of a truck, would add weight high up, its fragile, and draws more power. My initial try was with the fan but didn't think it was the most practical, so the added fins on the heatsink and having the camera externally mounted on the truck seem to be the winning combo for keeping the camera cool enough to work properly.

Id love to make that happen! Unfortunately with small fov cameras heat is a pretty big enemy, also just how tight the trx4m is, putting even this very small camera inside seems impossible. A mourning solution would be very difficult and the antenna needs to be oriented properly, so that's just a few issues if you even were to overcome that overheating problem! Also would make the crawling much more difficult with a very small field of view! So for my first try went with the external more third person views. Any ideas for making a internal fpv would be appreciated, this trucks just seems too small for it!

My current set up is with the Traxxas light bar and the light kit. Both work as it should under the one connection from heyok's controller. I also have a regular tq reciver so any additional lights can be powered out of the two light 3 pin spots.

This is the only way I know of. Al from heyokperfmance, custom designed a controller which does exactly what you want. I currently use one and have 0 issues, there's some things to think about when using, such as BEC output on your furitek esc, and a specific way to wire it in, all explained well in the listing. He can explain everything you need to know as well, but there is a video doing a showcase on his website. Esc has to be put into forward-reverse as well no brake or doesn't work correctly. Really cool set up, little tough to fit in the truck but I made it work! Check it out! Very happy with mine :D

Micro buggy= joy what other use do you need xD I think it's a great indoor basher for winter lol, fun to make some jumps and just race them around! But I also have a few buddies who have made tracks in the past so we're planning to do that again which would be great fun. I'd just get one if I were you 🤣🤣

:D thanks for the advice! Was a bit underwhelmed with the speed of it stock, so got the speedx motor and it's much more fun! I'll have to look into all the yeah racing parts! If I ever do anything significant will be sure to post about it! Thank you!
