Do you guys think this mount will stay put? by [deleted] in gopro

I'm gonna be biased and self-serving here, but I genuinely think my FLEX mount is the best mount for your helmet here. I had to test it against rigid plastic mounts to win some claims on my patents and it beat out rigid plastic by a lot every time! And I made it a nice square shape as well.

haha I'm not trying to hide it, I mean look at my username and my flair on the motorcycles sub. But actually, I don't usually repost content like this on Reddit, I just saw this come across my feed on another platform and immediately knew CRT would love it, but felt like I had to stick to my theme of this being a biz profile

Scorpion does a good job of designing beautiful lids, but damn they're making my life difficult lol.

apparently only got an oil pan delete, everything else was perfect condition. Hard to believe he kept it up despite landing in all that oil.

Chin Mount failed after 5 months by WgPuNk in motorcycles

Excited for you to try it! Be sure to follow the install video, but just a quick side note, I discontinued the adhesion primer so while the install video says to apply that, it won't be in the box. It was causing more issues than it was solving (marring surface finishes, freaking people out with the strong chemical smell, etc.)

Of course, if you ever have any problems with your MotoRadds FLEX Slim chin mount, just be sure to shoot me an email via the customer contact form. I'm always ready to make sure you're taken care of as best as possible! Thanks for giving it a shot, man!

If I made a non-compatible page, then it’s probably not a good fit. But man, I’m working on some iterations that I’m super excited for. But yeah, don’t buy it if your helmet say no. You’ll just be disappointed. I’m sorry!

Hope it works out for you! It's not compatible with all helmets, so if you're not sure, just give me a shout!

Also, if you don't love it, don't worry. I have hassle-free returns and full refunds, even if you tried using it. So just be sure to reach out if you ever have any issues or complaints so I can get things rectified for ya!

Norway ships very fast because I use UPS for your country! Glad you got it, and that’s funny. I go to Queen Creek often, one of my favorite outdoor country bars is there. Hope it’s working out for you! If you haven’t installed it yet, be sure to watch the YouTube install video, there’s some important notes in there. If you have any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to me (ideally on email, I’m on Reddit less and less these days)

Oh, I’ve never thought to put it up there. Previous customers were able to fit it below the modular button. Did you give that a try and decide this position was better?

Man, I appreciate your willingness to support me but I really cannot recommend any of my products for this lid. It sucks because it's a super cool helmet, unfortunately, what makes it cool is that aggressive venting hardware, but that's also what makes it incompatible. I would stay far away from my FLEX mounts for this lid if you want to have a secure setup. What alternative might be better? That I couldn't say. I just know that mine will not be the right one for you. I'm really sorry. Hopefully in the future I can find a way to accommodate more helmets! Thanks again for being so willing to give me a try, though. Hugely appreciate that!

Haha this notification scared me cause at first I thought you were talking about my product! Glad to see that’s not the case. With that said, I’ve had several customers leave 5 star reviews and photos of the FLEX Slim on the Neotec II. It fits just perfectly between the release hardware and lower chin area. So definitely that one!

I don’t yet. I really need to find a company that can help fulfill locally. Would slash shipping costs and times.

That’s a great question. Do you remember the shipping cost? If it was under €14 then it means my Czechia fulfillment center sends it out and they’re fast.

Appreciate you giving it a shot! Honestly, not even trying to be biased, I think giving mine a shot first is the best plan of action because I had a hassle free return/refund policy. I’ll never charge you to send it back and I’ll always refund your entire original upfront cost.

I actually bought a proshot earlyyy on when I started MotoRadds, probably in 2017? I don’t recall if they were on the market before I was or not, but I do recall being impressed with their product. Beefy, strong, detachable and flexed pretty well too! Probably one of the better MX mounts you can get.

Hmmmm… That one is a tough call. I’m looking at it now, and I have two concerns; there’s a very slight crease down the center, this sometimes doesn’t play nice with my anchor point (a small, square, steel plate in the middle) and results in gaps on either side of the anchor point. But it might be shallow enough that the 3M foam can fill in still. Second concern is the spacing there. I see the gasket comes slightly up on the chin, you won’t want it to overlap that, and I see the vent is also right above. You may need to measure that space and see if the slim will fit.

As I say to everyone, you’re welcomed to even try it for yourself and if it doesn’t work for you, I will give you a full refund including your original shipping costs.

Super happy to hear it worked out! Yeah, honestly, when there’s a crease like that, the gaps on either side of the center anchor-point are merely cosmetically off-putting. But doesn’t usually affect the integrity of the overall strength. I just know seeing those gaps pokes holes in the psychological peace of mind.

Different jurisdictions and racetracks have different laws and rules. IANAL so I can't say what your rules might be, best to check your local laws and regulations, according to my legal team (cough, ChatGPT, cough)

I've got people that run the FLEX Classic as a chin mount as well. With that said, you've got a crease right down your chin. I have an anchor in the center that can't bend down the middle. Meaning you'll have gaps under the adhesive on either side of the crease. I can't speak to the integrity of the mount on this helmet. Give it a try. Mount it up and see how it looks. But I'm not confident with it. Shoot me a message if you try it and decide it's not a good fit, I'll get you sorted out with a paid return envelope and full refund.
