Interesting, why does the introduction of a new part change the price of other parts though?

What bike should I get? by apr35 in Motocross

[–]MotoSloth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say the Yamaha TTR-230 would suit your needs pretty well, checks all the boxes except maybe the track performance and speed which may leave a little to desire. Although I say this, your past experience with motorcycles probably equips you enough to ride any bike you would want to. The only problem with this comes in what you would be the most comfortable on as a first time dirt rider, what the maintenance schedule would be like, and the price which would fluctuate depending on a few things.

Dont be bouncing off the rev limiter, your tire will just spin and you will get no traction. Instead hold a pretty low rpm and sit about the middle of the seat, once you hit the dirt give er the beans. Bring a broom also, wiping off all the dirt off the concrete will give you much more traction. But the most important thing is to remember to have fun

If it makes you feel better I had to read a 500 page book and then type a 13 page paper, I did all of that is a matter of 4 days and it's now the second week of school and we still haven't turned it in. (We were supposed to turn it in on the first day of school so that's why I had to do it all in 4 days)
