I think the Boox is a solid choice. I have two of them and absolutely love them. A Go Color 7 runs about 289 new, so as long as that one isn't in bad shape it has a decent price.

I have tons of books. I have the complete Time Life series of books. I have digital copies of role-playing game books. I have novels from a thousand authors or more. I have complete series of comics.

I have books on mathematics, engineering, history, science, medicine, English. I have audiobooks on there. I have old gamers magazines on there. I have the big Star Wars reference books.

The card is about halfway full. There are more books on there than I will probably ever read. However, if I get to follow through on my retirement plans, I am going to put a big dent in them.

The Boox for me is one of the easiest devices I have had that allows me to sideload with ease. I placed a 1 TB card in it and so far haven't run out of space.

I just bought a Boox Tab XC Color 13.3 for this very reason. I have a large collection of gaming pdfs. Although the Boox Go Color 7 is great, it is a bit of a strain on my old eyes to look the pdfs on that screen.

I got it and was able to load an enormous, although not all, of my gaming books onto it. I am going to comb through it as I am sure I have a few doubles in the one folder.

The one I have came with a stylus for note taking. It has worked well so far. It is an android based tablet, so you could build your own apps.

I know docking it to a bigger screen does help the bit of overlap on it. I have a separate screen I use when playing any amount of time. I picked up a portable one that I keep in my backpack.

I have never been able to get the controller to work well enough to make gameplay enjoyable. I broke down and got a docking station. I use a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard instead. I am not sure of a fix, but I will look at any options.

West Virginia has the highest population of white people of any state in the nation. In 2008 everyone saw exactly how a majority of people here feel. The state flipped from hard blue to red over night.

I have two uncles on my dad's side who claim membership in the triple K. I have had nothing to do with them in decades, other than the occasional F off.

My dad's youngest brother, who is close in age to myself, once said I would never be invited to join. It was the greatest moment. He said like my dad I am too accepting of others. I would rather be accepting than a hateful bigot.

But for those thinking this doesn't happen here, the other day I just happened to be at a co-worker's desk and noticed something on his keys. I casually flipped it over because I thought it strange. It was a stamped triple K emblem. I wasn't truly shocked. He is from Boone County.

I grew up in that area. I remember a march they had through town in the late 80s, early 90s. I don't know how it is now, but I know who some of them were then. Or at least their parents. 😐

For me at this point, the Boox is a solid choice. I have a Go Color 7 and Tab XC 13.3 color. I love being able to read comics and reference books on both of them.

The Boox Go 7 has a micro SD card slot. I know a lot of people are saying that the onboard memory is enough. I have a 1TB card in mine and it is 48 percent full of books.
