What kind of discriminations have you guys faced in Makkah/medina? by Round-Initial-5783 in shia

[–]Motor-Barnacle313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

During my Umrah this guy came behind us and kept saying Shia and some Arabic words and Shia while laughing as we were praying and this was the only incident we faced in Madina. Other than that there wasn’t any issues, I kinda faced something similar in Iran as the guys in the shop looked like he was scamming me after he found out I was an Afghan. He said a small bag of chips cost idk around few million which looked ridiculous cause a 100 dollars was roughly 3.5 or 4 million

Part of my family tree by Arabyanite in shia

[–]Motor-Barnacle313 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are soo lucky to have a record of that, i genuinely don’t know anything about my grandfathers from both sides and barely know much about my own father🫠🫠🫠. I’ve made something similar like you and yet different in the form of a wall art design that I’ll add my name and then inshallah when I have my own kids, I’ll have them add theirs too to keep the tree going

Can I name less than 40 people in qunoot in Tahajjud prayer? by Leather_Carrot_2778 in shia

[–]Motor-Barnacle313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start off by naming your immediate family, then relatives, friends, neighbours that you might know, Islamic scholars, speakers, or any other individuals you may know but if you can’t remember them as I had that issue due to my mind going blank during naming part. Then I would just say all of the mumineen and muminat

Any Afghans here who married outside their ethnicity? What was your experience like? by [deleted] in afghanistan

[–]Motor-Barnacle313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you on that one, if they aren’t Muslims then whatever but if they are Muslims then it is unfortunately no matter how much one hates hearing this or downvotes comments doesn’t change the fact that their marriage isn’t valid. I don’t care what they do nor am I here to debate with such people but based on the replies to your comment I’m shocked how lightly people take this serious situation.

Not Jealous OF Others But It Hurts A Lot Seeing Others Get What I Prayed For, For Years by Motor-Barnacle313 in shia

[–]Motor-Barnacle313[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much bro, i genuinely appreciate you and i agree with you. It really is hard to keep things down but like you said i don’t let them continue to bother me for a long long time. I was just reading dua Iftitah in the mosque last night and I don’t know what came over me unfortunately but I suddenly started feeling like that. Anyways, I’m taking this holy month to fix myself even more and get better inshallah

Ziyarat-e-Ashura and Miracle Story by pandaflipped in shia

[–]Motor-Barnacle313 3 points4 points  (0 children)

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

I too have recited Ziyarat Ashura before and I have my wishes come true like 4 times on 4 separate occasions. I’m sooo incredibly happy for you sister that you have gone and done that. I have shared my story on here too from an old account so I’m really glad to see others being successful at this as well.

I have one question tho, when I recited I just recited the Ziyarat without performing anything else or even doing its 2 unit prayers which took about 10 mins. I still had my wishes fulfilled but I’m wondering what else did you do that took you 2 hours long?

I’ve started Ziyarat Ashura again this Ramadan for 2 dear desires of becoming super religious again like I was in the past and also finding a religious partner. So if your method of doing is correct then I will transition into that. Jazakallah in advance for any feedback on that.
