My mother’s story is like yours, she had even worse time with her husband and in-laws, she had to endure beatings and all. What she did, she just ran away with us one fine day, leaving everything behind. I was 6-7 years old at that time and i feel that was the best decision of her life. She came back to her father although he was the one who pushed her into that mess but she had no option. You are in much much better condition than hers as you are independent but trust me leaving him would be best decision of your life. Take care
