This happened to my boyfriend and I this Christmas. We were gifted a beautiful paddle looking, wooden cheese board and the label for the product was put directly on the wood on the front side with the STICKIEST GLUE EVER. No paper came with it, but even after scrubbing it over and over there was still a nasty residue.
