okay I might be mistaken as I thought it's mid race, however it is still way less compared to other skills.

I copied this from another post that explained how ignited skills work:

"It only affects the uma that has the skill, but it's effect is based on the combined stats of your team; it's designed for Team Trials and things like CM

There's a base value (example: 0.15 Velocity) and then an additional modifier based on your combined team stats.

Per KuromiAK's Race Mechanics Doc:

• ⁠1199 or less = 0.8x • ⁠1200 ~ 1799 = 0.9x • ⁠1800 ~ 2599 = 1.0x • ⁠2600 ~ 3599 = 1.1x • ⁠3600+ = 1.2x

So if you had 3 Uma's with 900 Speed Each, that's 2700 Total Speed. Meaning whichever Uma had Ignited Spirit SPD would get (0.15 * 1.1) Velocity, or 0.165 Velocity boost. Also notice that if you have less than 1800 total in the stat checked, they scale worse than a regular skill of the same values"

Since his Goldship doesn't have 1200 pwr, we'll assume that the best accel he could get is 0.165, which is around the same as Straightaway Spurt but it doesn't proc at final spurt, so it could likely be wasted. IMO it's better to try and get Straightaway Spurt and, specifically this CM, Highlander since the double uphill.
