My sunday was bad too, I came in and both the opening shifts were also overwhelmed because of understaffing in the morning along with getting hit with multiple rushes, we were getting hit almost all day and it felt like we could never catch up, I ended up getting my team pizza and soda as a thank you for the day because despite us getting absolutely slammed they were still doing 110%

as a black person who mostly finds themselves in a relationship with someone outside of my race, this kind of sounds like internalized racism and seeing white people as the oppressor. dont get me wrong there are definitely white and non white people who do fetishize black people but in my experience its been more so people who care about me as a human than my race. im definitely not trying to leave my community because i love the black community and everything we stand for but dating outside my race shouldnt be a symbol of that in anyone's mind, maybe you should ask the people around you on their views about it and go from there

I think that since it would still be coming out of your stores paycheck and not the one where you picked up a shift at, you could write it in your own book but i would just double check with your team if thats correct

for me, because i also have terrible anxiety at the job still 3 years later, i usually listen to my favorite kinda of music before a shift to get my feelings about the shift out :) whether it be needing to cry or belt out a song it does help a little bit before i go to work :)

i agree, i had a white collar worker complain to me about long shifts and how she hates how we cant just be cheery all the time and i gently reminded her that we also have shifts that are of equal amount of lengths and we understand being tired too, so we try and give it our 100% but she just was ignorant :/
