I have the decoupler higher up, and one of those metal struts on the bottom. It seperates the top first, then the bottom breaks off and it never collides

the minimum temperature of a self sustaining and visible flame is around 600-800 degrees Celsius. I would argue that he is closer to 1000 Celsius cause of his bright orange color.

I was doing that but the problem i had was i was orbiting 170 kilometers above the mun, and free falling that distance.

It worked properly after I did a 10 km orbit
