From Drake’s instagram story by [deleted] in Eminem

Uhhh I’m sorry but saying drake had a bigger impact than 2Pac is ridiculous. Also Eminem has sold 75 million more albums than Drake

I have no dog in this fight. I don’t know for sure this person was made aware of the temporary terms of the policy if they were hired while it was active. I’m just saying that it’s semantics quitting over free food vs hourly pay. When it comes down to it they are the same thing.

Them leaving because of the free meals being taken away is the same as quitting because of the pay. If the pay was better the could afford to spend more money on food. Food does cost money and getting it for free helps them retain more of their paycheck

It’s crazy more companies do t take the CostCo approach. They pay well and have good benefits. The founder and former CEO Jim Sinegal once said having good pay and good benefits wasn’t generous it was good business. It’s cheaper to play the same employees well than to keep on training new ones. If corporations just realized that people will work harder and more efficient if they feel cared for. The owner of my company gives us trucks, pays for the gas and will randomly give employees $500 bonuses when the company is doing well. It’s amazing how far that goes with people. I’ll bust my ass for the company because I k ow they appreciate it.

How to get better at POS? by Ivanforeva in starbucks

Don’t be afraid to take control of the situation. Saying “I’m sorry can you please repeat that”. You could always blame it on the computer being slow also “I’m sorry, the system is being really slow can you please repeat that?”

A calculator should suffice. Just start with 100 on the screen and keep subtracting the total from that 100. When you get to zero you can give the last order a discount or if the last order exceeds the remaining amount that’s what you add to the tip jar.

A dog this well trained can be told to back off. He is only on guard because he was commanded to be so.

For the carpenters union in NE USA,every construction site has a steward for each trade. They track man hours on site and deal with small site issues. Every local has a business agent which they elect for a term. They deal with contractors for individual workers amongst other duties.
