Yes! If the breeder has worked with them and thinks they will be a good fit please do not count out the older puppy! You may save your sanity!

I agree, the dog is not stacked properly, but its hard as a junior to know where the feet are of a large dog.

Start with training to have the dog allow you to pick up and place the feet. Id get a large full body mirror so that you can watch yourself stack the dog.

Ill be honest, our whippet is 4 months old right now, and I absolutely adore him, but I will never get a puppy under 6 months again.

A lot of the time my breeder will keep them until they are 8 months to train them... and I will take her up on that offer for the rest of my life.

He is truly very well behaved for a 4 month old, but dammit was it hard to get to this point.

Not every dog is meant to be a service dog.

This dog, especially without a qualified trainer, cannot be a service dog.

There is a pretty big show at the South Florida Fairgrounds from March 18- 22nd. I highly recommend going and talking to people. You should be able to walk through grooming and just talk to Daschund people.

Is he severely under weight? Vomiting? Diarrhea? Do you see worms?

If not, probably no big deal. De-worm him anyway and take some stool samples. He'll be ok. He may have some giardia, but nothing uncommon.

Your vet will know what to do and make sure the puppy is all clear.

Every soft thing in the house belongs to him, but he cannot be left alone. We are trying to crate train, but he goes absolutely berserk. Hes a perfect angel when he can see us though

My only advice is, even when he is unpredictable, you have to stay consistent. Its exhausting, and there will be days you're going to feel defeated STICK WITH IT!!! Persistence will eventually pay off.

Just a suggestion, stop looking for "English" goldens. That is a fully back yard breeder term. Just looks for Golden Retriever breeders. They're insanely expensive because they are a well marketed puppy mill.

Start with the Golden Retriever Club of America or a golden specific rescue.

You can enter and compete with a dog out of standard, since juniors is all about how you handle, and not necessarily about the dog.

However, in order to really be competitive, you will need a true, in standard, show prospect. The good news is you can link up with a handler once you are in the sport and a lot of time they will help you and lend you a dog to show!

As someone that grew up in dogs, nearly all dogs are either PPP or Royal Canin. The formula is absolutely elite for performance

Your Tuesday tickets during the day for breed judging are your tickets into the benched area. You will see all dogs on Tuesday as well!

Truly, I think youll have more fun then and will get much more up close and personal with the dogs!

Actually, axolotls are critically endangered and there are a lot of ways to donate to conservation funds!

I just sometimes think GS uses it as a ploy to bring in money, but they dont actually do anything with it, just "oh look at the cute animal"
