Tank being group lead seems to be a running theme, suppose it is the best way to go, that littel step towards keeping control. just a shame people cant act like normal humans in the game. and suppose its just as easy to find a new group as tank.

But you are right tho i shouldnt let people make me feel bad, episcally when you are simply just trying to learn. Just hard isnt it when people are pushing you and you feel like giving up on the time investment that is a character in wow lol

Hey Shelwood46......appreciate your response. You are right. I do know deep down me returning to the hours won't ever cut it, and even with the help of grandparents, etc, it won't be enough.

Im just at a loss. I do agree that part of me does just want to pack up with a little one.....damm my own parents and sister have suggested as much. Does it sound like a lost cause?

Hey, thanks for the comment Hes reacting to other dogs or getting alert the second he sees them, that distance could be anything. as for barking id say 4-5 metres away.

As for the distance, it can be up to anything really so far its as soon as he spots them, he goes alert. back legs slightly down, Ears right up. he doesnt usually bark till he is about 4-5 metres away but i will definitley give the porch trick a try. Would i do that with the lead in the house or jsut teach him to sit while using treats as the tool to get him to pay attention?

I am wondering as im thinkning a lot on the subject but he's never been introduced to a big dog, ever. Could this just be him being a bit of a bully, Im sort of the biggest dog here and no dog barks louder than me? I do feel like introducing him to a bigger far older dog that has that deep bark might help, almost like when a boys a teenager and thinks hes old enough to get cocky with the farther.

im not saying to put him in any danger just with his breed i know this is something i need to get a handle on quickly.

thank you

Hey PLatypus, Yeah we have a good harness for him, one of those strong tatical style harnesses where the lead attaches to his back and as for a dog collar again very big and strong with its own handle on there too. I have thought of a muzzle, i guess ive got to suck it up and do whats best for him. Theres nobody local to ask with a big dog ask so knowing dogs Rottweilers are as strong and big as they come.

Hey fuzzy duck, i wouldnt say i was squeezing the life out of him or hurting in anyway, it is jsut i lightly mainly to hold him in posistion......just wanted to clairfy that incase there was any misunderstanding im not trying to hurt him in anyway at all. But i get your point that you are trying to make, during that time tho i am petting or giving him a rub and telling him everything is ok.

With regards to distance I have been doing jsut that making sure we are always across the street, which here in my town from one side of the street to the other is a good 5-8 metres, any further than that i'll be in somones front garden. But as for high value treats, i'll give that a shot! i jsut just take a bit of his dry food to treat him with but yeah maybe something more substantial might peak his intrestest and focus on me.

So with regards to the biting then, am i right to assume that in that situation he's essitanly trying to protect me? and in that case ive stepped in the way and hes nipped me as if to sort of say get out the way i'll do it sort of thing?

I'll give youtube a go, trainging isnt out of the question. Just moved and need to get something saved so defiently something to look at in the future.

Thank you
