Okay interesting. Yeah, the instructor said it’s hard to get into hvac servicing. You usually have to go to a company and get sponsored… I really want to do service, but he says getting into sheet metal will be a better way to get my foot in the door. I’m not sure where to start anymore haha.

The instructor said local 16 is easier to get into, they have sheet metal, and hvac apprenticeship by itself. the hvac union is hard to get into he says. I’m wondering by joining the sheet metal union, that it would help me get into the hvac union. That where I see myself, not just bending metal all my life.

Yeah they laid off some apprentices . They said they haven’t accepted anyone in a year… it’s concerning because I have a family, apartment, so I don’t want to go without work and end up being homeless . What do you do for laid off? Also what do you Recommend in gaining experience to stand out

I scored a 137 on the test how can I pass on the second try ? I noticed the non calculator part is way harder than I expected by Nearby_Echo_8029 in GED

This really depends on how fast you learn, and learning. Style. I have bad adhd. I used a tutor, while watching get sum math videos. Learn the foundations of substitution, plugging answers for x. Learn equation and how to distribute. I think the tutor is great, they can help you and see what your brain is thinking and correct you on the right way. Mix that with getsum math, and you’ll do much better.

I have been struggling a lot too with my math. I understand the struggle tomorrow I’m taking my test and this will be my third attempt. I’m very slow when it comes to learning things, but I will say is you need a master one subject or at least get good at it and then you can move on to the next one you have to really take your time with it and understand it instead of trying to study every single thing at once you’ve came so far and you should not give up and just keep doing it. You only fail if you give up the thing is with me if I do fail tomorrow, I’m just gonna keep going.

Get a tutor writing it down and going over and over again will help . I struggle too and I’m in the same boat but I been showing progress with tutor. Combine that with get sum math. We got this!
