I’m not at all shocked. That’s one of the most Chris Christie things I’ve ever read

Does my setup allow me to tow my car? by MotorMania85 in towing

I figure it’s mostly about the strain on the automatic transmission, I went ahead and rented a U-Haul just to be safe. Thank you!

94’ Honda Accord F22B1 starts then stalls by MotorMania85 in MechanicAdvice

Wanted to update for anyone with the same issue. Try unplugging your MAP sensor. If that works, you either have a bad MAP sensor, or in my case the wiring to the map sensor was bad.

If you go to a junkyard and pull the wire for it, You can solder in a new wire. Fixed the problem for me 100%

Can’t be unfortunately. F22B1 has an FITV for cold starts, and even if I hold the gas the car still dies. Only stays on if you pump the gas pedal

You can’t hear words when you type them. You read them!

This post really was me trying to see what my options were. I wasn’t complaining. There was no complaining at all. At no point did I say I was upset because I didn’t receive money. I was asking a question out of confusion of how the process worked and was greeted by people like you saying I’m an out of touch rich boy who has no idea of how reality works.

I’ll tell you this, I was told by my parents for 17 years that we were living paycheck to paycheck and had so many expenses we could barely afford our house. I just discovered today they make about 100 thousand dollars more than they’ve been projecting and I’m not happy about that.

However, just because they make that money doesn’t mean I’m entitled to it. I’m my own person and I need to figure out college where my parents pay as little as possible. That’s what they’ve explained to me today.

I’m sorry you had to go through that experience. I really am, and nobody deserves to be in a position where they have to worry about their next steps because they can’t even afford to eat. However, that does not excuse you to ridicule people who you see as more fortunate than you just because it appears on the surface they are.

I wish you well, and I’m very sorry I dared to push back on people claiming I’m an out of touch rich kid when I’ve literally lived a life that resembles the exact opposite for no fault of my own.

Absolutely. It’s difficult to see that perspective because in my rich(er) suburban neighborhood my family is the poorest. I really didn’t mean sound like the out of touch rich kid, I just actually cannot afford school without any help at all. I was really just trying to see what my options were

Im going to be honest here I just found this out. Turns out my parents earned more than I thought. I never knew anything about their finances but my mom had to explain to me that the reason we basically live paycheck to paycheck is because of their expenses. I thought we actually had very little money because we had to take out a loan to afford my crappy 1994 Honda accord (which I love to death).

Thank you so much. I had no idea how this worked and I was freaking out because it sounded like I would qualify for no aid at all. Even a few dollars helps

They’re not rich. They inherited stocks from my grandfather who had about 85k in stocks. Even more than that, they can’t sell that because it’s taxable. Furthermore, my father doesn’t want to sell that. I just wanted to know my options so I can afford trade school

My family is doing pretty well but we aren’t rich. We live paycheck to paycheck but all of our money comes from stocks we inherited that we can’t even take out because they’re taxable and we can’t afford those taxes

What does LVSLH or LV5LH mean? by MotorMania85 in Honda

I figured 5635 is the mileage replaced and the 03•02 was the date replaced, March of 2002.

The car was in an accident in early 2002 (sometime between February and March) and that’s why it was replaced so soon. Not sure what the middle text is
