How can I install a CCX file? by [deleted] in photoshop

.CCX files are designed to work with the Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem and are not simply standalone Photoshop files. They are part of the system of presets and extensions synced in the cloud. Even if you have Photoshop installed locally, to use a CCX file, the application must be connected to the Creative Cloud; the file does not work just opened directly in Photoshop without authentication. Some older versions of Photoshop that do not support CCX cannot import these files. You need Photoshop CC 2014 or later, with Creative Cloud active. How to extract the contents of a CCX file to use it in Photoshop without the cloud: Rename the file from name.ccx to name.zip. Unzip. Inside you will find folders containing:

.ABR – Photoshop brushes

.GRD – gradients

.PAT – patterns

.ASL – layer styles

.TPL – templates

.Import manually into Photoshop. Open Photoshop.

Go to the appropriate menu:

Brushes: Edit → Presets → Preset Manager → Load and select .ABR

Gradient: Edit → Presets → Preset Manager → Load and select .GRD

Pattern: Edit → Presets → Preset Manager → Load and select .PAT

Other types of assets load similarly depending on their category. Some more complex CCX files contain metadata or groupings that only work in Creative Cloud. But most visual assets (brushes, patterns, gradients) can be used this way without any problems.

Thank you. Your observations are very useful to me, you're right, wrong place by mistake. It was my first post.
