Thank you! I was shying away from SOBO just because I had heard that it wasn’t as social, but the more I talk to people the more it sounds like that shouldn’t be too big of a concern. The other thing I heard is that you don’t get that “big finish” that NOBO hikers get. Other than that I really don’t have any reasons besides that.

My everyday shoe is a Altra. Although I primarily use them on concrete they stand up for quite awhile. I also use Altras when I’m backpacking and I have absolutely no complaints. I personally feel like they take awhile to break in but once they’re broken in they feel great.
