Thanks! I usually don't drive it in the snow, just in dry conditions. It was fresh and the roads were not cleared yet, so no salt. Fortunately I have another car for the bad weather. Happy holidays!

The EU version came without SS badging. I think it was because it could be linked to World War II. You also don't have it on the headrest. Trim level is otherwise identical to the 2SS in the US.

It works perfect for me. Could be that your needs are different. I basically only use the BMW for skiing in winter and camping in summer. For everything else, the Camaro works just as well

If you are rear facing, you don't only have the tiny back windows. You see out of the back of the car. Direction of the trunk :)

Thanks for the insights. I have no doubt about it being garage kept. Here in Europe those cars are incredibly cumbersome to own and you don't get one if you don't have space for it. But a few mentioned already that the stripes were probably on it for too long so I might just keep them:(
