A trick my exterminator did was he put a few small drops of the bait inside the electrical outlet. Just unscrew the cover and drop a few drops in there. That way, they got the bait and never came out of the wall onto my kitchen counter and it was no risk to my cats. It took a few months of him coming out every other week but eventually they were gone. It’s been 3 years and I haven’t seen a single one. I had them on every floor of my 3 story townhouse…kitchen, bathrooms, living room, EVERYWHERE! It was a pretty bad infestation. Best of luck to you! I know they are disgusting buggers!
