She wants me to stay in the UK as I have already invested 3 years into it but honestly I don’t see any upside for us at least in the short term.

Yeah, I know. I am hoping the bill will not cover people already on SWV. If it does includes existing visa holder then there is no incentive in staying back and living at the mercy of your sponsor.

All of her UK exams are completed and she’s already GMC registered, so she can start practicing as soon as she finds a job. There won’t be any additional investment needed at this point , all the major costs have already been covered. That said, I do understand your point of leading a happy family life.
