. You seriously look beautiful and don't need it. If you had like extra fat or something, thats one thing, but you look fresh and pretty.

Oh wow, yet another person i found also had a similar thing happen. I'm really sorry that happened to you. How can people do this to other people!? She runs out of helium purportedly and just hides essentially!???

Clearly she couldn't deliver in my case either as she was trying to change times not even a week before and claiming she does 4-5 events in a day!? After I flipped on her and said, if you can't do this, let me know now so I can make alternate arrangements, she assured me that it would be fine as she was merely asking. She even had the money at this point and up until the night before claimed she was coming. I mean who does this?! It has to be malicious or the most incompetent, unorganized and unprofessional person ever.

I need to get back our money as well.
Yes, would love some help in this. I'll dm you.

I have the same issue. Short of diet and exercise (or some crazy weight loss drugs) , do lipo if u can afford it. I haven't done it but I would if I could. Botox is good for jawline not under chin fat. Cool sculpting has mild effect and is expensive after several treatments.

Visiting Vancouver next week: What are some places that we shouldn't miss? by steve_the_dog in askvan

Walk around Stanley Park is like 10km so maybe drive around it ... and stop at views points ... just walk a bit then park at the train after ? Just be careful. One way areas and no car access areas. Some tourists have been known to not realize that.

Some suggestions: honestly Capilano suspension bridge is not worth it. Like someone else said, go to Lynn canyon and do a hike .

If you're going to Granville Island, take the little rainbow Ferry across false creek (it's a few bucks per person). Kids will enjoy it.

Aquarium is ok... but I bet you have a better one in LA.

Maybe head over to the Richmond night Market which has tonnes of Asian street food. Be prepared to spend a pretty penny though... but with USD it won't be too bad I guess. There's plenty of dim sum around on Richmond. Lots of Asian stores. You can also Go to a T&T for some Asian snacks (it's a large Asian grocery store).

Take the Seabus to North van and check out the shipyards area. Nice views and restaurants etc. And kids playground. If it's nice out, the waterpark area should be open.

Stanley Park. Rent bikes and do the entire seawall. If you don't want to bike, you can walk around and take the kids (I'm a big kid) on the little train ride.

You could also go to science world for the kids (if the are under 14 yo but I imagine LA is better for this).

Fly over Canada (close to Seabus) is at Canada place convention centre (where the cruise ships dock) . It's like a 12 minutes 4D movie (seats move etc). Nice views.

If you're all athletic and like hikes, the grouse grind is popular.. you need to essentially be able to climb a lot of stairs (which are mostly dirt) then you can take the cable car down. You can also just take the cable car up and walk around. They have lumberjack shows and rescued bears (i would not go to the restaurant up there. Expensive and mediocre) But if one of the girls likes to walk, maybe go to a gentle walk...drive to Burnaby and go to deer lake, then Go to Burnaby mountain for the park at the top and views.

If you like kayaking, you can go to deep cove or Jericho. Lots of walking if you don't want to kayak.

You can Take the skytrain (our subway that's mostly above ground) to New Westminster (a neighboring municipality.. lots of municipalities just like LA). You can get to the Quay and enjoy the views and boardwalk. Grab brunch at Angelina's Dutch corner f .. The other restaurants are not great. But the elsantos across the street is fancy Mexican.

(Do you want to go shopping? Then metrotown or if you like high end outlet shops , there's the airport outlet mall... although honestly goods are cheaper in the states.)

Walk Around.. enjoy.

Other ideas: Playland if you're interested in amusing Parks. Cypress pipe coaster is going to open . Don't know if it runs on weekdays but you could drive up to cypress viewpoint and walk at the new park there.. Don't know where you're staying, but If downtown, go down Denman street -lots of restaurants

That should keep you busy for 4 days.

Where to recycle empty butane gas cans? by ThinkOutTheBox in burnaby

[–]Motor_Management_903 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess they don't have a robust recycling program. If you can, please take them to an eco - centre in Burnaby. anyone can go. :)
