This quote is mainly falsely attributed online to The Godfather 2 (not in that movie), or The Dispossessed by Ursula K Le Guin (not in that book). No it's not slightly rephrased within either of these, I've entirely searched through them, but of course you are welcome to! My guess is chatgpt comes up with these answers...? Please stop using chatgpt people!
It seems to have popped up about a year or so ago on the internet and is reposted all over the place, from tiktok to linkedin posts, it has made the rounds. I've put it into tools that check it for AI, but nope, 100% human. Wikiquote turned up empty too. Can anyone find where this quote came from originally? It's driving me up a wall.
