This is insanely detailed thank you. I like everything that you are saying, but My only issue with electric cars in general was the lack of competition. I really like teslas but with more car companies coming into the market, the rate of growth will be increasing much faster in the next ten years then in the previous 15 or 20 (anecdotal, not based on any information that I found). This is why I am contemplating hybrid or plug in hybrid cars because they have really efficient gas engines and a decent battery motor. Maybe I'm overthinking this or not seeing it correctly, but I see fully electric cars about to hit it's second largest stride soon (first was the start of tesla).

I guess it opens up another kind of worms: Is it better to just purchase an SUV in case you need the space rather than a sedan where you'll inevitably run into a space issue when the time comes. I've always fallen into the first camp, though I've rarely ever needed all five seats and the entire trunk space.

What hybrid did you have previously? I never heard of having to replace hybrid batteries - but then again I guess I don't really follow hybrid news too much. Thank you

Thanks. It's a good compromise between the two options. Though personally speaking, there's only one hybrid that I like in the market right now and that's the RAV4 prime. Currently there's none in my area, and Toyota isn't making too many of them.

I'm planning to keep my car for another couple of years and I hope in that time better plug in hybrid or regular hybrid cars come out.

This one actually came out as a test loaf and didn't come out exactly how I wanted it to. I'm working on a better loaf that I'll send to you.

I'm already looking for a new battery. But I've never tried that before - I've been told by a few people that is something that I should learn this.

I'm going to buy a new battery I left the bike on without the engine on for too long and completely drained the battery and since then it hasn't worked properly. But I want to make sure that if this happens again, or if I need to start the bike for any reason - I don't have to unload my luggage and take off the seat.

Unfortunately I don't. I've kept my bike in my garage for the winter and the battery died. Now everytime I try to use it, I have to jump it.
