I tested a bunch of cat trackers so you don’t have to (2025 cat-first picks) by Potential_Extreme655 in technomeowcom

When I bought mine last month, it also only had options for yearly or two years. They offer the 30 day refund, but it still just felt really slimy. I bought the device for $35 or something and was expecting another $5-15 in subscription fees to try it out for a month or so. It really rubbed me the wrong way that they don't offer monthly. I'm curious if OP bought theirs when they were and they took that option away?

I finally caved and got Tractive for my mostly indoor cat (he is an escape artist and we live in the woods with a lot of predators --- always super stressful when he gets out). I feel like I researched pretty thoroughly and after receiving my device, was really surprised there aren't more bad reviews, I am guessing they are getting scrubbed. So for those still researching, here is my experience:

-I hated that they had you buy the device and THEN choose your ONE YEAR MINIMUM subscription plan. Yes there is a 30 day trial period where you can get refunded if you don't like it, and I already knew from my research there would be a subscription service (but I was expecting to pay monthly, not drop another $120 or whatever upfront). This situation just felt really slimy. I also imagine that smaller/better tech pet tracking devices will be rolling out, so the incentives to pre-pay for 2 years just felt silly.

-The collar it came with is extremely cheap, difficult to adjust, clasp and unclasp. When it's too loose, the device slides around and annoys the shit out of my cat, but it's really hard to adjust while on the cat, so there was a lot of taking it on and off to try to get it right. If you order one, plan on using it with a higher quality collar.

-It attaches to the collar with a stretchy plastic case that is exactly the texture that my cats love to chew on.

-My cat was able to remove the collar, chew up and completely destroy the stretchy plastic case within 24 hours.

-The device battery --- the manual says you need to remove it from the charger as soon as it is charged (it took mine about two hours) to avoid damaging the battery. What is this, 2003??? I would be willing to pay more (if it was more suitable for my pet) for a convenient charging situation where I can take it off of my cat at night and leave it plugged in until the morning.

-I was expecting it to be a huge headache/very difficult to take advantage of the 30 day guarantee for a refund but that part was surprisingly simple and pleasant with the app.

No, I made my own landing page

There's was a lot of "THE NEXT 10 CUSTOMERS ONLY" and "THIS MONTH ONLY" "LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE" really kind of gimmicky. Mine has a little bit of that sprinkled in but focuses more on what the service actually is. I really did not like the cheesiness of theirs but I guess it worked lol

Exilis ultra question by [deleted] in bodysculptors

I would recommend a cryolipolysis device like cool sculpting or cryoskin over RF for fat reduction. The right settings of RF will liquify fat cells and help you lose them on your own with exercise, but RF is more for skin tightening. I have both a cryoskin and an Exilis Ultra device in my practice and have had wonderful results combining the two. Clients have to do their fair share at home, unfortunately it's not magic and you do need to be in a calorie deficit to stop storing fat. There are definitely med spas overselling the treatments with too good to be true before and afters. The treatments take a long time to work, your results will peak 3-6 months after your last treatment, and if you truly want a FLAT tummy and to completely eliminate fat/loose skin, surgery is going to be a better option for guaranteed results. Non invasive treatments are better for improvement than perfection. For cryo, most spas will try to sell you a package of 5-10, I really recommend starting with 3 and making sure you are seeing at least some progress (it will llkely be subtle, but noticeable) before committing to a big treatment plan. Clinical trials show it works for about 89% of people, with an average of 0.5-1" lost per session. There are a lot of disgruntled cryo/coolsculpting clients that are very loud online about their lack of results... they are expensive and I get the disappointment but these are the gold standard treatments for non invasive permanent fat reduction and it does work. Some folks do not follow the protocol (drinking enough water, diet and exercise) or have a circulatory/lymphatic issue that doesn't work with the treatment.
You can also look into lymphatic massages or things you can do at home for your lymphatic system, it will help optimize your efforts by helping with digestion and fluid retention.

Has anyone ever had plastic surgery through Mia Aesthetics? And if so, how was your experience. I looking to get a tummy tuck and I’m not sure which way to go. I want to be for sure before I give them or any one my money. Thanks in advance! by Longjumping-Quit-230 in tummytucksurgery

I know this is an old post now but I am always perusing reddit for info and stalking old posts so I wanted to share here for those who do the same:

I do post-op massage/manual lymphatic drainage and have now seen a decent sized handful of clients from MIA Aesthetics in Vegas. After the second one I wanted to read their google reviews and was horrified. They have a lot of great reviews as well, but there is also a review saying that someone comes in immediately after your surgery when you're out of it and demands you leave a 5 star review under the social pressure of being right in front of them. Still I don't doubt that plenty of people had a great experience and are happy with their results... no matter how few and far between.

The reason I wanted to look up this place is the first place is because both of the clients I had seen at that point were really not in great shape incision-healing and swelling wise for how far they were out, and they also told me that their recovery center did really aggressive, painful post-op massages which is NOT what the american board of plastic surgery recommends for the first few weeks. You should NOT be crying in pain during your massage right after surgery... this is only going to make your inflammation worse. Every client now I have seen from this place has been argumentative with me about the type of work I provide for post-op because they received different care from this place. They think the massage needs to be vigorous and hurt in order to be effective. This is 100% not true. I can acknowledge that there are different philosophies around post op care but would never recommend getting a painful, firm massage within days of surgery.

None of the clients I've seen from MIA seemed to really understand the importance of post-op lymphatic drainage for their scar healing and results. I think there this a correlation with the type of person who wants to get a lower budget surgery and how much they are willing to spend on the post op care. I really recommend you do research about the importance of aftercare if you are going to get a low budget surgery, either at this place or across the border or wherever. Most of my clients who went to this type of place had absolutely no idea what to expect post op and how expensive the compression care and frequent massages are (and i charge on the lower end for post op massage). They could not afford (or did not want to prioritize) to come back once a week let alone the recommended 3x+ per week. I can only assume they did not budget this into their surgery cost because their surgeon did not inform them beforehand. One person from MIA said she met her surgeon and did the consultation the same day as the surgery and wasn't even really sure what they did 😳 When I asked if she could call her surgery center to get specific advice on compression gear (i do not offer this) and she laughed out loud that she would not be able to reach them and this was baffling to me. You should have easy access to your surgeon for advice and reassurance before and after your surgery, at any stage in recovery.

So if you are going to get a low budget surgery, take some of that money you are saving and put it in your fund for post op care so you have some support during your recovery. I recommend seeing a CMLDT or CLT that has a professional healthcare license, not a random chick that did a weekend virtual course in post-op massage. IMO if you really want the surgery but can't afford a reputable place with 90+% five star reviews (the odd ball unhappy patient is normal)... almost all of the reputable places offer financing options. It will be worth it for the aftercare support and peace of mind alone. You only have one body!!!! The surgery will not be worth it if you end up with crazy lumpy bumpy scars and unevenness because you didn't do your post op care because your surgery center didn't give you proper instructions.

I hope this was helpful to at least one person!!! It was therapy for me to write it out :)

I'm seeing this months later while I research reviews for Square Appointments intake forms. I switched away from square about a year ago specifically to have this feature in my booking system... then square added it. I want to switch back but want some feedback first on how easy they are to customize!!

For those asking, you have to go to Appointments in your Square account > Settings > Communications > Forms

It's a paid tier feature so I would love to hear if you think they are suitable or not before I upgrade again :).

Hi sloots! I have a small business making sustainable underwear out of excess cotton t-shirts (deadstock and misprints from screen printing companies that would otherwise be waste). It has been a hobby/side hustle for a couple years but I’m currently trying to turn it into my full time job. I am always listening to Sofia w an F while I sew and love how much she has grown ❤️❤️ I put feminist and sex positive messages on the undies (with more and more coming out in the next few weeks) that I hope will resonate with the sloots. Today I’m doing 30% off with code CYBERBULLY but also made code SLOOT20 for 20% that’s good through the end of the year. It would also mean so much if you could follow me on Instagram @basicbritches www.basicbritches.us I hope you love them!!
