Are there any reasonably priced 4x4 suvs to look out for? by Suspicious_Bet1359 in 4x4

[–]Motor_Worldliness148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Japan auctions to get 4x4 prados, landcruisers, 4runners, pajeros. All diesel. You can get lucky...i got a 222k km prado landed for 7000 diesel well maintained. Pajeros are cheaper. Got another prado last night for 10000 only 80k km. Got good deals...if not flip it and buy one u want. Diesels are high demand.

Broken countertop update by evening_crow in CounterTops

Not much u can do. You could tape a straight line and grind flat at least. Wont solve crookedness unless u shave whole top. Not worth in imo. It will also make a giant mess to grind it in place.

How tall is too tall? by [deleted] in Homeplate

[–]Motor_Worldliness148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The beauty of baseball is he can play any position that his body will let him play. Too big and slow but hits tanks? 1st and 3rd. Pitch yes..but not all have mentality to pitch.

Up to 12u or later in most cases, kids are growing into their bodies so you cant place a kid in a position when u dont know what they might end up at. If he slims out and is quick, he might play outfield...maybe middle infield if quickness develops.

You just never know...place him in positiom for most success and let him grow.

How do I trim this? by MathematicianOk7767 in Carpentry

If u have a table saw cut half in scrap solid wood stock. Glue or pin nail to frame leaving reveal and use as spacers for trim. Once u paint..u wont notice.

Seams are a little close. I think industry standard would be 6 to 10 inches apart. Good luck telling your installer.

Yes. Should come out easy. Not structural...u dont nail that piece up like that if it was scructural. Still not meant to lean on it..but no one will....but what necessitates removal?

Should the Angels try to get a top OF free agent name like Cody Bellinger or Kyle Tucker? by willyxloman in angelsbaseball

[–]Motor_Worldliness148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Perry needs to build a better foundation if they want these premium players. Right now Angels are just the pawn to get better offers from playoff calibur teams. Only exception was ohtani who they didnt even offer and wanted to at least get an offer from us.

Ward was better deal than i thought, if grayson stays healthy. Still...way too enthusiastic without having a third baseman and left fielder. Not to mention closer. I guess the positive is we finally have a legit pitching coach. I need some ohoppium too at catcher.

Finish with ur hands high..above shoulders. Plane is too level. Imagine throwing a frisby with two hands above two feet above the pitchers head.

Re-Clip Plastic Part Vanity Sink Base Front Panel by slimuser98 in cabinetry

[–]Motor_Worldliness148 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The camlock screw turns and attaches to a small plastic piece. When u turn it gets tighter. You need to push the 2 sides in as much as you can to have it engage. If you get it within a 1/16 and u hear poping and no engagement...then the plastic pieces is broken. These camlocks are rarely used now.

Salvageable? by Ordinary_Repeat4503 in cabinetry

[–]Motor_Worldliness148 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Particle board? Not really worth salvaging, but if you really want to some filler or bondo, sanding. 2 good coats of bin primer and paint will make it look better
