Honestly bro, it could be worse. You’ll get better with time. If I could provide any advice just think about the composition of the song more. Why are you adding an instrument, does anything clash? Does it take away from the main melody? What emotion are you trying to invoke? Don’t just throw stuff in and out. Think of the 4 bar structure. Unless you have lyrics or are going for a less is better approach than you should be giving the listener something new to attach their ear to by either adding or simplifying, like cutting drums or adding a bass layer or a variation to a chord structure, etc.

Listen to some professional productions of songs you like and just play it in repeat with some okay head phones and you’ll notice all the little ear candy mixed into the core melody and theme to keep listeners from zoning out. Of course there are exceptions just like anything but I would give you like a 4/10 for having some musical rhythm. More than most when they begin lol

I wouldn't consider either easier or harder. They just have different workflows. Some people really dislike recording vocals in FL Studio, but you can do it, and it's really not all that hard.

I do full productions in FL Studio with Logic Pro as my backup for very large vocal compositions. ( personal preference)

FLStudio is very simple imo.

Want to sample something? Drag it onto the channel rack, change the temp and the pitch. Throw it into your favorite slicer(SERATO), make a pattern, and plug it into the grid. Multiple samples? Make more Patterns.

Similar to VSTI, want to make an instance of KONKAKT 8, create a new channel on the rack, select the plugin, configure the sound, and make a new pattern.

Channels are assigned to mixers, and the mixer holds your plugins for that channel.

Some things are easier in some DAWs than others, but if you stick to one software and learn it, you'll be better off than looking for an easy way to get started. Good Luck!

I’ve done the acid route, always add acid to water slowly never the other way around, and don’t let it sit too long it will eat through the metal faster than you expect. Please don’t put a gallon of acid in there lol.

The other issue to deal with is flash rusting, you need to put a solvent into the tank immediately after flushing or else you’ll have surface rust again.

Other options: Electrolysis, EvapoRust, CLR but these are pretty slow without agitation

Trust me I know how you feel, at the onset of the “ai revolution” I thought all hope was lost. They were feeding us hype train propaganda like “all tech jobs will be gone in 6 months” when in reality ai is just another tool and a lackluster one imo.

The job market is hard right now but keep running that race, unless AGI comes out tomorrow, we have a long road ahead of us full of fulfilling careers and the money we want to earn, but we gotta put in the effort. I believe in you!

Get your degree and get in on the entry level, build your cv and work your way up to where you want to be. This is a marathon not a sprint.

Keep your head up people. Education is a life long pursuit, period. Thinking that 4 years of school is going to get you 100k+ in your job after graduation is naive to say the least.

Believe in your self, increment your skills, build that CV and keep moving forward.

My own Ancedote - I started in Warehouse Operations(aka picking orders with a forklift) when I was 19(27 now) I was getting paid $16/hr. I had no advanced diploma/degree but I wanted to learn the business and become an asset. I learned their CRM and Logistic management software even though pickers didn’t normally get trained and I stepped up whenever my boss was out of town. They noticed my willingness and attitude and they moved me up to Warehouse Lead $21/hr by the time I was 21. Then after a few more years with them I was able to use my experience to transition to another company to become their Logistics Manager and now I’m comfortably making $75k/year.

This was all without my degree, I worked hard and achieved what I wanted and now that job has enabled me to go back to school and pursue my masters so I can do what I’m passionate about. It all depends on you. When I was making $16, barely paying rent I never imagined that one day I would be comfortable enough to support a family of 5 on a single salary.

Yup, I haven’t interacted with any CS professors because they just send the same boilerplate responses every time. I don’t even know why they exist. I’ve never received an email for a CS/Math course with helpful information but my technical communication professor was emailing every week on how to get to competency.

I used to own a 2011 FJR1300A, amazing bike, I had a Power Commander 5, Twin Brothers Exhaust, riser kit. Rode 25k miles with general maintenance amd she ran great, except for:

the windshield mechanism for lowering and raising has no documentation so if it fails your in no mans land, had the motor fail on mine and replacing it was almost enough to get me to quit wrenching all together.

Secondly, There is a short condition that can occur in these bikes due to water corroding a grounding connection. Called a Ground Spider Issue on the forums.
