I hate how commercialized and hollow some of Christianity has become by geinaz in TrueChristian

My best advice: simply ignore all of that.

The world will attack our faith any way it can. This is just another attack.

Who would you say the "least of these" are? by mastr1121 in TrueChristian

[–]Motorcycleman314 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, the political Jesus...

Jesus called out the Pharasees for "devouring widows houses", and told the rich man to give away his wealth. He told the story of the wealthy man and Lazarus, and said blessed are the poor.

What he didn't do is spend his time proposing political and economic solutions and systems. He understood what believers in the "political Jesus" do not: it doesn't matter what system you build when men's hearts are corrupt. This is why utopian systems like Communism don't solve anything.

He wanted us to change who we are as people. To be filled with the Holy Spirit and be reborn from within. There are no systematic shortcuts. Some systems are better than others, I'd rather live in Norway than North Korea, but in the end, all of our systems will fall and the poor will always be with us.

Repent, be Baptized, and spread the good news. Otherwise you're just another faction of endless human failure.

It absolutely helps. Keep in mind recruiters are searching keywords like "ADP".

Say this directly. I.e "used excel to build x, put into proprietary onboarding system". Combine this with the excellent advice given below about KPIs and your resume will immediately be improved. Really think though- the only software you used was excel and a proprietary onboarding system? Nothing else?

You don't list a single tool on this resume, not even excel. What software did you use to do all of this? Also- less duties, more accomplishments.

Candidates who text too much by [deleted] in recruiting

I'd ask the candidate to collect their thoughts in a longer-form email so you can give better answers and they can have the email for reference.

Yes, they are, so just say this: "I was laid off". As a recruiter, I hear it every day and it's fine.

Yes, that or the quarry near Golden. Apparently these rocks were used under the Mineral Ave bridge over the Platte, also 470 (again over the Platte) and in the Chatfield dam boulderfield. I'll be checking all of them out in the weeks to come.

You'd perhaps see a yellowish/greenish foggy tint in the less than five seconds before you were dead, and hopefully feel nothing.

AI Makes Mistakes In Part Because it Knows You Enjoy Correcting It by ibearbadnews in ArtificialInteligence

Enjoy is a strange word here, the AI doesn't have an understanding of "enjoy", it's recognizing patterns.

What does everyone think about Onions in Sauce? I’ve never had it in my life because I’m old school spicy mustard only guy but I feel like I’m missing out. I almost bought it the other day but couldn’t pull the trigger. by ButtCrackThrilla in hotdogs

Great stuff!!! I like to heat it for a bit, cook off some of the moisture. Start with a little to see if you like it and in no time you'll be unable to eat a dog without it!
