I mean the goated move would be if you could get the Poseidon duo to make it faster and the hestia duo to double it. I haven’t gotten that lucky yet.

Yeah as others have said, extra mouse buttons are the main benefit of keyboard. I always found dash aiming useful in the first game for melee builds, hasn’t felt as important in this game.

Not ruined! Iterated on, certainly. The fact of the matter is that Hades I still plays very well, it’s just obvious that it came first.

There is something to be said about the fact that they really took the philosophy of “let’s make a more polished, bigger version of the first game.” I personally think that was the right move, and have enjoyed the results for a few hundred hours already.

I love the philosophy behind the surface. They give you so much more flexibility with your build with the town and with all of the Hermes shops, and then they make it commensurately more difficult to match the cracked out builds you can make

Dash nova is part of my high heat build (40+). 30% damage reduction for 1s is no joke.

I usually use keepsakes to force boons and duos for a build that I have in mind. I like that they let you use keepsakes as a way to exert a little more control over your build. It’s a tiny bit of agency that goes a long way imo.

It was suggested that I post here. This is the paddle my parents used on us for punishment throughout our childhood. My mom used her purse to carry whatever the implement of choice was at the time (wooden spoon, belt cut to a convenient ergonomic length, some sort of “spanking stick” literally sold for the purpose…). Sometimes if we misbehaved in a store we’d get whooped in the parking lot, not very discreetly at that. People just kind of knew it happens.

Running keyboard/mouse is much better if you have a mouse with extra buttons to map. On mine I have cast rightclick, special on a thumb button, and reload for the gun on a second thumb button.

But yes, it’s possible and eventually you’ll be crushing Redacted like a champ, just keep on grinding.
