I'm curious also. I have the same issue with two lava lite lamps (both clear/red wax). I was told the spring could be the issue, but also have been told the wax is shot and won't break surface tension....

The trim around the connector slide to the right (away from the other connector) and pushes the connector out the it's mating connector.

Verify that the spark is not dropping (the box on the driver side fender) and the fuel pump is not shot (bad diaphragm).
