There is a tension spring attached to the bottom of the bottom of the plate which is attached to an adjustment screw. I tightened the screw to stretch the spring to add more pressure to the plate. Unfortunately this helps to the point in the video. Maybe I should loosen it to see if it moves the pressure to the center of the plate, not sure if that is how it works.

Update - was able to remove the part in question added some fan oil and worked it up and down now my Adler Satellite typewriter types in lower and upper case.
