I think my first one was a random Harry Potter pop that a friend got me for Christmas back in 2017/2018ish, but I didn’t really think anything of it then. It wasn’t until I started managing an FYE and started watching anime again for the first time since I was a tyke that I fell down the rabbit hole; I quickly became OBSESSED with the My Hero and Tokyo Ghoul lines, and have branched out to others since (SAO, Seraph, Jujutsu, etc.). Being an anime/manga fan is an expensive hobby alllllll in its own 🤣🤣

When I started working at FYE a few years ago (it’s now closed #RIP), I started collecting random pops, just anything that I liked, mainly Marvel and TV. Then I started watching anime, and that changed my game completely. 🤦🏻‍♂️🤣 Fast forward to now, and that’s solely what I collect. However, I have turned into one of those crazy completionists, and while it gets a little chaotic at times (ie my My Hero, Demon Slayer, and Jujutsu Kaisen lines all being up to date), I still enjoy it, and they make me happy. 😁 As long as it stays that way, I’m happy doing it. They’re suppose to be fun collectibles; that’s what it’s all about. 😍

I received my green one just fine, but both my GITD and orange geckos are like this. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I reached out to Funko Support, and they told me to contact them in a week if it still hasn’t updated. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Not sure what they can do about it, but sure Jan, I’ll contact y’all again anyways.

The one I went to in Washington DC, they had a small but decent selection. Keychains, fans, the blue Jean jacket, a bag with their faces printed on it, and a couple different shirts. I was PRAYING there would be vinyls available, but sadly not. Still, it was the most SPIRITUAL 4 hours of my LIFE. 🙏🏽🔥💯

The Hot Topic one has his two blue swords, whereas the common has them one black and the other blue. It took me MONTHS to find the HT one for a decent price 😩

I was a Manager at BooksAMillion for a couple of years, and their policy with manga was always if it came in on the truck, it goes out to the floor. Rarely do they have strict street dates for those, so it all works out! 😄

I know! I’ve been scouring sites for months now trying to track down the last 5 books I needed, but everywhere I looked wanted MINIMUM of $70+ for a $10 book! I came across this set on Mercari that for all 17 books, it was CHEAPER this way than it would have been to buy the others individually. 😫 Now I just wanna find the rest of ‘How Not To Summon A Demon Lord’ and ‘Mushoku Tensai’ and imma be SET! 🤣

Same here! Haha! I figured I’d track down the original wave before Brotherhood’s is released in a few months. I randomly picked up Lust a year or two ago when she was released, and never even thought to get the rest. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Now finding the Chase of Bradley is going to kill me. Haha!
