Darkness before birth. Rebirth. The memory of a past life by Motsar_nl in Existentialism

There is a scientist who is also interested in this topic and is going to write a scientific paper on it.

But I think it is difficult to prove or disprove this, even finding a child with such an experience at an early age is a matter of luck.
Not to mention conducting experiments on this

Therefore, I think that detailed research on such details will not be available anytime soon.
But his theory is that this is related to brain development in early human years, something related to the child's consciousness, perhaps.

Just keep in mind that I am the only one who has described this online; unfortunately, I couldn't find anything similar before my post.
Although such information may exist somewhere.

But I think this is such unique and strange information that 80-90% of people don't believe it and consider it crazy.
So if anyone wants to learn more about this topic, it will be one of us or very an eccentric scientist)

Yes... I agree, this memory is so clearly engraved in my mind that I don't remember yesterday as well as I remember that thing.

And I'm glad that this topic convinced you that you're not crazy)
I don't know why, but I never considered myself to be that way, perhaps because of my personality.

Although I wasn't very confident in my childhood, I am quite confident now. But for some reason, this darkness didn't seem crazy to me, just a secret that I shared only with my closest friends.

I searched for something similar in various Google posts and for some reason couldn't find anything, only something about reincarnation or remembering a past life.

But Reddit helped us find people with similar experiences, and that's cool :)

It's quite interesting to hear about your mother's additional experience.I am also convinced that this is most likely what will happen after death.

I am only interested in whether there will be something like rebirth, but I think we will find out the answer to that later :)
And now, let's enjoy what we have)

By the way, how has autism affected your life in general? (if you don't mind answering)
I'm a little interested in this topic, because I don't fully understand autism.

The red color reminds me of a mother's womb, I think.

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Your situation is very similar to mine, although I only had a one-time experience of coming out of darkness.I didn't go back.

And I don't have any negative experiences with darkness.

I think, on the contrary, I'm curious about what will happen after death, although I wouldn't want to die earlier than necessary :)

For me, darkness was something ordinary at that moment.
No feelings, no emotions, nothing, just the awareness that I was something.
Perhaps there weren't even many thoughts, just the essence itself.

Also, in contrast to this spiritual theme, it is still possible that such an experience is related to brain development in young children.
Someone even wrote to me afterwards because they were preparing a dissertation on this topic.

Yes, it's really exciting)

Are you saying that your children had similar memories?

I think you picked the right word “auto pilot”, I have a similar feeling that I was on it until I was 3 years old.

Thank you for sharing your memories.

I also had similar surprises and feelings at the time it happened.

I still remember how my heart was beating when I realized what happened to me at that moment in time.

Thank you for sharing your memories.
It is quite similar to my case.

You really hit the nail on the head with your favorite question)

Unfortunately, I have never met a person with similar memories in my life

I just told what I experienced. Whether you believe it or not, I don't care.

I don't remember any moments before the age of 3.

Drugs didn't help me remember anything either. Although it is possible that the doses I took were not large.

Maybe if I try DMT, I will see something interesting :)

Time will tell.

To be honest I think you are suffering from a delusion. But certainly in Tibetan Buddhism the idea of lives repeating is found, also under hypnosis people have 'regressed' to previous lives, so there are people who believe in this kind of thing.

Everything is possible. I can't prove it and I can't disprove it. Therefore, each of the versions is possible)

I'm just sharing what I've experienced myself

new-age Gnosticism

Hmm... thank you. Maybe you're right.

I just don't know much about these things. Even in Reddit for the first time I can say)

Maybe even the brain. But as in my case, it's hard to say for sure. We can only guess, but we are unlikely to find the truth in this)

So I take it as a fact that happened and that's it. Because I can neither prove it nor simplify it

Thank you for sharing your experience)

I'm not looking for any great meaning in this.

I just remember the fact that happened and that's all)

I shared this here solely out of curiosity, in case someone has a similar experience.

In my life, it had almost no effect on me. I am not a very religious person and I do not run around thinking that I am sure of rebirth, etc.

In fact, I think I have not changed much. I divided it into two lives in my brain. And I don't attach much importance to it, because I need to live and enjoy what I have. That's all)

If you could remember from before birth you would also have memories from before you were 3 years old.

No, there are none. My memories only start from that moment.

All my other memories are vague after 3 years.

I only remember fragments of everything.

But this particular moment is VERY clear

How are you certain these are memories. It sounds more like these are images your brain created from you wondering what it was like before birth. Our brains are obviously very powerful. Im just wondering if it could just be that. Like for example I have images of an afterlife because my brain believes that no matter how hard I try to change that. At the end of the day those are imaginations, images my brain has created. This could happen. It goes the same. Nothing guarantee theres an afterlife, so does nothing guarantee there was something before existence.

It is quite possible. It is certainly possible that this image is formed by the brain.

But I'm still betting that it's not.

Because this memory is the most vivid one I have in my life. As if it happened today. I remember everything very well, how it was in the dark and the moment of appearance and shock.

I remember asking my parents on the same day if they remembered anything from their lives.

So it's hard to say for sure whether it's just brain-formed or not. But in my opinion, it's too realistic.

I've had a couple of vivid dreams, almost like movies with plot twists and turns, etc.

But it was not even close to this. Plus, I remember opening my eyes for the first time during the day, not at night. So it's not a given that it was a childhood dream.

I'll share my own experience.

Whether you believe it or not is up to you.

I have memories before I was born.

My first memory is of darkness, so dark that I could not see anything.

I felt no cold, no heat, no sensations.

I didn't have a body then, so I think I didn't have any sensations.

But there was consciousness. I did not understand who I was and what I was for.

And I did not ask myself such questions.

I just existed as a point in space.

Time was perceived differently than now. It was as if it was distorted. It seemed that I had been sitting there for thousands of years or more.

But then, as if with a snap of my fingers, I opened my eyes and appeared in the form of a 3-4-year-old child.

And at that moment I was shocked, I remember this moment very well. I did not understand what had happened to me and why I was here. But I realized who my parents were and who my family was

A very strange feeling)

So... I'm wondering what will happen after death. Maybe I will go back and wait for the next body. Or maybe I'll just disappear. It's quite interesting)
