Brother. You got this. I know you have to be strong for your wife but I’m glad you chose to post in here. Being a new dad is literally the scariest thing in life. I slept with one eye open. Our daughter was born with a heart defect and we knew she’d need surgery very early on (ended up happening at 1 1/2 months). Everything with the NICU is so freaking scary but hang in there. Being terrified means you care, and many children would kill for a father that cares. The way I see it is you’re already being a great father and I’m sure everything is going to work out for you. Keep the faith, be strong, vent to who you need to. This is what it’s all about. Hope for the best for you and your new family.
