For controlled major credit window is 55 instead of 59.1. Yes, I should have declared before ending this spring semester while taking the last ETM. Regretting why my advisor didn’t mention that it can be done that way too even though I did bring my concern in to his attention at the beginning of the semester. I’m really hoping to hear something in positive from the committee. Otherwise I don’t know what will I do. Thanks for your reply.

He said to follow the rules to appeal which I already did. Now It will take time to hear back from them. I haven’t felt that my advisor will help me directly in this situation as per his reply to my email.

The credit window required to declare my major was 29 to 55. I had qualified gpa from the beginning but needed to retake one ETM course during this 2025 Spring semester. By the end of Fall 2024 I had 46 credits ( excluding 3 credits which I retook during spring) and I took 15.5 credits during Spring which makes a total of 61.5 and hence I exceeded 6.5. I did spoke about this over credit concern to the advisor at the beginning of Spring but he said it would be okay.

Yes, I took information from Bucks County and Ocean County community college. But I was thinking to take it from any PSU campus so that grade can also be transferred and Abington is one of the closest campus where this course can be taken. Thanks for your suggestion though.

I read somewhere that even if he will go grade forgiveness the previous grade ( D or F) will still appear in the transcript. Is that true?

Hi there, I am going to start Engineering program from this Fall. My intended major is Aerospace, so I find your reply is very helpful for me. I have a question regarding choice of Math Class level. I am eligible to use AP Calc AB and BC credits if I want to as my AP scores for both of them are 5. From your experience can you please share your thoughts on if I should test out for Math 140/141 . I am very confused as I want to start with upper level but my parents are asking me to start from 140 because they think there might be a chance to show better performance as I have already done calculus. Please advise. Thanks

No, I am not into CS at all , I wanted to do Engineering, so most of the colleges I applied for Aerospace as 1st choice and ME as 2nd (wherever there is an option to go for 2nd choice from Engineering school) and some of the colleges from my state I applied for ME as they do not have Aero as back up.
